      If you've got $1.99 delivery: you can get a chicken snack wrap, small shake/OJ/soda and small fries (with happy meal toy/book) delivered for free.
      Close by delivery for me is $2.99 and I don't mind paying 92c or whatever, beats a big mac for sure lol

      I have literally never had McDonalds available for free delivery. Interestingly I have the places next to it constantly. The McDonalds delivery fee is slightly higher ($2 more), while being slightly further away as well. I have just assumed UberEats / McDonalds have a special contract of some sort with McDonalds getting a cut of delivery fees.

    All the posts about people whose local Ben & Jerry's closed while their coupon was active, etc, make me wonder what the proportion of actual redemptions is?

    We have so many reports just on this site of wasted coupons and I dare say that users here might be more efficient than most. When UE say what the maximum total value of the promotion is, it's really nowhere near that.

    How are people doing this bouncing around suburbs thing to get cheaper delivery? I am not sure I understand. I tried changing the delivery address to something closer to the maccas and it shows cheaper delivery, but when changing back to my actual address it goes back to the normal price.

      I drove to maccas car park which was still 4.99 delivery but allows me to have much cheaper coffee. I was on the way to woolies which was right opposite maccas. I checked delivery to woolies car park and it was 5.99. Delivery to home was 7.99. Best bet is drive to maccas if it is on the way.

      so I tried something and it seemed to work.

      what I did was… change to the maccas store for the cheaper delivery, add everything to cart and go to checkout page. change it back to your address and quickly press pay now. I did Apple Pay and it showed the lower price, paid it and my orders been confirmed and it’s on the way to my home address.

      I paid $2, though the receipt says $4 ($2 difference in delivery fee). Not sure if they’re gonna charge me the extra $2 but will update you guys

      EDIT: it worked!!! Didn’t surcharge me. Says order completed and paid

        Great if this works. What I do though is keep changing addresses, until delivery fee drops for my address. This is random. I have seen two accounts on different machines placed side by side showing different delivery fees for same address.

        UE surely employs some analytics based on your history as to how likely are you to order irrespective of the higher delivery fee. I wait patiently till it drops and I place the order.

    Can we just take this moment to appreciate the fact my Uber Eats driver has done almost 10,000 deliveries and still has a 100% satisfaction rate?

      My recent order had a driver satisfaction rate 91%. I thought that sounded really low? To have almost 1 out of 10 people have some sort of issue.

      They did leave my order on the footpath in front of my house, instead of the front door, which hasn't happened before.

      That amount of trips is impressive. The feedback percentage though is based on the last 100 feedbacks only. I bet he had some thumbs down where either the customer had way higher expectations or just mad at uber and took it out in the driver. A lot of customers blame the drivers when there's something missing or something is wrong from their orders.

        Oh right yeah that would make sense. Well he was very efficient and even went a back way (which is quicker, but GPS doesn't automatically route it) that no other driver has so don't doubt his perfect 100%

        Definitely the highest amount of trips I've seen too.
