I've had one of the original set with manual screwdriver for a while, and never had a chance to use it. Then my joycon controllers started drifting so I bought some replacement joystick thinking I can use this set to open it up. Does not have the only head I wanted to use it for lol.

I thought it was, been in a similar situation many times so I can relate Bro.

    • that's why i brought the joycon replacement with tools. i had the xiaomi one, haven't open yet.

  • two-way rotation

really listing all the features here.

  • I've got one of these from some deal last year. It sits on my desk. I use it sometimes, although it's not actually as good as a dedicated screwdriver of the correct type. The electric function is sometimes useful but sometimes the extra girth of the driver plus the play in the bit end is more trouble than the electric function is worth.

Also, the thing to stand it in is rounded on the bottom so is unstable. I don't know who thought that was a good idea.

  • Got one, my wife and kids are constantly breaking things, this should help with the fixing, unless of course they break this too… sigh…

I have one, I find they are good for electronics because the motor is weak so it won't over tighten anything

    • +1

Yep, that's what I've found too. It will do it semi-tight, and then there's a little extra give with a manual twist if you want it extra tightened.

  • I got a Wowstick

    • Is that what she said?

These are good for hobbies or small electronics. The idea is to manually loosen or tighten the screw so as not over torque it and then let the screwdriver do the rest. There's no switch needed to switch between the driver and manual user so it's actually really convenient to use. For things that have soft plastic and lots of tiny screws (laptops, RC cars) it's useful. One thing I don't like is the barrel is thick so it can get in the way but the included bit set also has long bits.

    • +1

This is a pretty standard bit size as well - so I think you can get extenders for it if it's a problem for you often.

  • The Mi Wiha manual screwdriver set.. screams quality

The barrel of this is okay, but the tips do not, which is strange, they're just not as nice as the Wiha ones

    • +1

Correct. I also found this odd. They're not Wiha tips unlike the mini screwdriver set.

  • It is fragile. and torque is very low. My one stop working in a month and I use it now as manual driver. Just a fancy looking rubbish.

  • Got one, love it, but it's weak as p!ss.

    • Yeah, it's not a replacement for a drill - it's just for working on small items like electronics.
