Ever tried getting a refund on the .15c Bags ?

    The conversation doesn't end well…

    • -1

Just quote them the Australian Consumer Guarantee…

      Works for me…

      • +1

Which part of the consumer law applies here if the product is not faulty?

        • -1

A reusable bag that can't be reused is faulty.

          • @jv: All you then need to do is show the fault at the information desk and ask for a replacement. They will easily oblige.
You don't even need to quote the consumer law.

            • @DoctorCalculon:

You don't even need to quote the consumer law.

What about the Charter of Human Rights?

              • +1

@jv: sure, if you want to go full Karen over a 15c bag…

                • @tdw: I shop at Woolies in Brighton…

    • +2

Umm… Woolworths stopped doing change of mind refunds like a year ago. Why would they make exceptions for a 15c bag?
The most they will do is replace it for free if there are any visible damage.

      • Correct :)
        That's what she said…
And the fact that it had been used…

I didn't push it, was a friendly (cheeky) ask as I was dumping them in the big Green Plastic Bag bin near the Desk.

  • only got this offer on my oldest ER account

Anyone tried to have an old green bag replaced at Coles recently? I tried today for my battered one with a cracked black plastic base one and they refused after acting like they'd never heard of the offer. Is it still a thing? Cheers.

    • Has never been an offer with Coles as far as I am aware.

    • +2

It's only Woolies that has the free bag replacement policy.

    • Anyone tried to have an old green bag replaced at Coles recently?

Coles bags are red, so maybe they don't replace competitor's bags?

      • +1

Coles used to have green bags.

For those interested, you can actually register your everyday rewards number to the Woolworths campaign webpage (got it from Facebook ad) and get this booster. I would recommend taking a screenshot as well because it takes sometimes for it to show up to your rewards account.

    • Came on to post the same thing, but you beat me to it. I was able to add my card to the promo even though I wasn't targeted via email.

    • Thank you for the link. Booster appeared on my rewards account.

  • how do you get the bag? is it sent to you or in store?

    • +1

      at the loading dock

    • add it to your woolies shop in-store or online and scan your card

      • that's what i did, but the cost of the bag wasn't deducted.

Does it need to appear in your account on the site or the app?

  • OOPS - please delete, I can see someone has already posted this above
