'Networking' - whatever that actually means

They say you’re the average of the five people you spend the most time with.
What if those people were founders of 9 figure companies?
Connect with entrepreneurs from every space. Each and every one of them: rooting for you and your success.
It’s a network worth a million dollars, and it’s yours to use the moment you join.

It sounds kind of bs. Has anyone tried it?
(I don't know whether to take it as a bad sign that I saw it advertised on this video about Charles Ponzi: https://youtu.be/PxByoc9zHu8?t=212 )

You don't know better than the market unless you have info the market doesn't have. Which is illegal.

All this stuff shouldn't, in theory, give you extra risk free return vs everyone else.

"You're the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with". So you're saying I'm 40% cat, then.

Can you beat the market? Yes
Can you beat the market over the long term? No

It sounds kind of bs. Has anyone tried it?
