I literally paid 150 for this mouse 2 hours ago

No regrets though, I never knew I needed a full-metal scrolling wheel

The metal scroll wheel blows the MX Master 2S wheel out of the water. The larger thumb wheel is more use friendly and the forward/back buttons are so much better placed. Phenomenal hardware + very configurable software = a VERY worthwhile purchase.

      • Glad to read this before mine arrives because the scroll wheel is something I see a lot of people complaining about!

I'm really look after my things so I tend to get good life from them. But I don't recall having a mouse wheel suffer as quickly as the 2S did. And I've been using only Logitech peripherals since the late 90's. But the metal wheel is miles ahead of the 2S and worth the upgrade (even though I only had the 2S for about 1 year or so).

  • Still have the original, use it on the daily and still going strong! Can only imagine this would be better.

I've have original, 2 and 3. This is by far the best. All are still good though

  • What's the battery like on these

    • from specs:

      USB-C QUICK CHARGING
MX Master 3 stays powered for up to 70 days on a full charge – and gets three hours of use from a one-minute quick charge.5 Use the included USB-C charging cable to top up the power

  • Can you connect to multiple devices? I currently got MX vertical that can connect to 3 devices.
EDIT: Never mind just read the specs. you can pair up to 3 devices with this bad boy too.

Paired with the MX Keys and you've got a multifaceted peripheral setup. I've seen a huge productivity boost since I bought them both.

    • Yes but you’ve got to press a stupid button on the bottom to switch device. Even with mx keys…

  • Is this any good for gaming?

    • this model is not recommended for gaming but excellent for productivity

  • I don't have one of this mouse but you can check there is a specific deal for a gaming mouse https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/605175

  • Got this for work from one of the previous deals. Greatly sped up my workflow. Worth every single penny.

  • Does it come in light grey color as well?

  • I was wondering if anyone with the mouse finds the wheel scroll issue as being oversensitive or any other issues in general i.e. unresponsive, overscroll etc? I've seen some reviews on Youtube that being an issue..

  • Got one today at Officeworks Hunter St.
The staff couldn’t believe price beat to below $120 for a $169 accessory. He even tried to add the mouse to cart and checkout on Umart to check if there’s delivery fee despite I told him it was available to collect for free.
    Thanks OP for great find!
