  • Anyone vouch for these monitors?
The reviews aren't as good as most the others. But a lot of them are complaining about delivery delays

    • +1

it mainly seems like some quality control issues, customer service problems and delayed delivery times are responsible for the majority of the poor reviews

I have one vertical next to the S2721DGF and love it. EDIT: I only paid $108 for it from the last deal + a $30 coupon code.

I got this around October, good one for the price and nice display. Buy if were to buy one now, i’d skip this one and get 27” one.

    • +2

Yep would recommend a 27" and at least QHD.

  • Out of all the other models "S2421HS" would be my pick but like other people, I would go bigger for the 27". I paid $108 from the last deal with a coupon so it was a "no brainer" to just on this deal.

OzB has turned me into a tighta$$, the last time this monitor came around it it was $138 delivered, so I'd be wanting to see this monitor at less than the last price. But I also don't need another monitor. LOL.

I'm so tight as well, I'm always not buying stuff I don't need.

    • My GF bought one for $138 when it was on sale last time, it's actually a great little monitor and a nice upgrade from the 768p 19inch one she was using before.

  • Last time it took 2 months to deliver!!!

  • It says VESA compatible but it looks like the hole when you take the standoff would need a converter module also to attach to a VESA mount. Does anyone know if this is correct.

    • You need a VESA mount that is compatible with recessed monitors instead of bolting on the external plastic of the monitor. I had no problems monitoring a generic monitor arm from ebay.

Best 24” monitor in this price.

  • looking to buy a monitor and was wondering if I should go for Dell or the Samsung curved one?

    SAMSUNG LC24F390FHEXXY F390 23.5" Curved LED Monitor

Anyone use these curved ones? These are about $200

    • For curved I believe you really need to go at least 27" to benefit from the effect…

  • Would something like this be ok just for standard office work:

I have this from a deal last year but thought it would be clearer, next time I would buy something higher than 1080p, text is blurry and scaling is too large.

(Yes I have looked into resolutions, font smoothing, scaling) and everything is as fine tuned as it can be)

    • Yeah if you're used to QHD it does look blurry even with all the sharpness etc enabled But good enough

  • Bought the USB-C version of this monitor and I absolutely love it. One cable from my Mac and it also charges my Mac. Absolutely game changer

  • 27” one -180$ after above discount code.

No adjustable stand and no display port on that model.

  • I'm seeing lots of deals for displays these days. Do you think there's a downward trend on display prices because there's less demand? Less people doing new builds due to GPU shortages maybe.
Would I be best buying a new monitor now, or waiting until I eventually do a PC build later?

    • +1

Unless you have a need for it now or there is an amazing deal you should wait, I think the prices will drop in the next six months as there is alot of competition for very similar spec monitors.

  • Thanks OP, needed one for the office

  • Anything with a bit brighter panel? Have a pg279q with a 350 cdm. Wouldn't mind trying to find at least a 300 IPS display to have beside it.

Bought two for $200 with a Dell coupon i got after purchasing a XPS. thanks OP

    • how did you get the coupon code? recently just purchased an xps too

      • Got emailed to me. Dell Access Coupon for $100 off a $200 Spend

        • thanks. how long after your purchasing or delivery did you get the voucher?

          • @Magicmagic: A little bit before i received my XPS. Not sure if its cause i kicked up a stink about their "expedited delivery" or if its because i got the 16gb ram model which is more expensive. Best of luck.
