[Afterpay] MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK Wi-Fi Motherboard $301.50 ($294.80 eBay Plus Member) Delivered @ gg.tech365 eBay

Arguably the best x570 board value-wise.

For VRM, I think most mid to high-end B550 will have comparable or even better performance to this board. Still, at this price it is a no brainer unless you hate the chipset fan.

  • Can anyone vouch for this Seller? They have been active since 2019 and has sold 2400+ items with 99.8% positive feedback score. They don’t seem to have a shop front unlike Computer Alliance, PC Case Gear, etc.

I see they have been posted here before, just being cautious because using the coupon leaves you without PayPal protection. Trusting the OzB mob on this one.

Why would using the coupon prevent PayPal protection?

      • +1

I assume because you need to use Afterpay, not PayPal.

Yeah bought from them a number of times and they're fine. I believe they also go under another shop name called KS Electronics in Sydney

I was hesitant at first about them too, but I took the plunge and ordered this exact same motherboard and a Corsair RM850X power supply from them during the November sales last year, took 5 days from the day of purchase for the items to reach me via AusPost. Brand new, well packed and no problems at all.

  • I'm using this board, pretty good and I can't hear the chipset fan everyone seems to be going on about with these x570 boards.

Then again my wife does make lots of around the house!

    • What around the house? What does she make? I guess I'm doomed to never find out.

I couldn't bring myself to type the word, I have nightmares from it !

  • Being looking for an upgrade, and this motherboard was on my list to get. But is it okay to get the motherboard now and wait for 5900x to be in stock or will the price drop once I can get my hands on a 5900x?

    • I was thinking the same, but what if the board has an issue and you can only test it when you get your hands on 5900x? (maybe 2-3 months later)… can you return the mobo?

      • Return likely not, warranty claim yes. You are then at the mercy of the manufacturer or distributor.

      • i think you get 30 days returns for Plus items. If you can get a CPU in the next 30 days, go for it.

  • Excellent board, good value for money.
I have one with 5900x and it's rock stable.

    i don't like Amd

  • I have this board. When I was installing the m.2 SSD, I lost an SSD screw. It's a tiny screw and if you drop it, you're not going to find it again.

So I contacted MSI support and asked if they could send me a replacement screw. Other manufacturers have been more than willing to do that for me and not charge me anything.

They got back to me and said they would need to charge $33 shipping for the screw. Crazy. The screw is half the size of a grain of rice. I asked them, why not use a letter envelope? It will easily fit. They said they don't use envelopes, it's courier only. I don't know what country it's coming out of, but $33 to ship is screw is ridiculous from any country. Especially if it's China where they get to ship things for free.

I've decided it's my last MSI product. That's not a knock on the product itself. It seems fine. But $33 to ship a screw shows a complete lack of common sense.

Thats not the board's fault lol
Just buy it off eBay for $4 - $5

      • Like I said, it's not a knock on the product itself, but MSI as a company.

I don't know what the name of the screw is. It doesn't seem to be a standard screw. I tried to salvage the m.2 screw from my previous MSI m/b and it's not the same screw.

I'm not talking about the screw that attaches the SSD to the board, but the screw that attaches the m.2 heatsink to the board.
