[Pre Order] eVGA GeForce RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra 8GB GDDR6 Graphics Card $999 + Delivery @ PLE

763

Cheapest/Most reliable way I could find of getting my hands on one of these GPU's.

Probably doesn't as a bargain but its the best so far, also they have a limit of 1 RTX 30 series per household so don't even think about buying them all crypto miners :'(
Although it is a pre-order they seem to actually be getting fulfilled that goes for the 3090's and 3060ti's as well.

PLE fulfilment record - Note that the lower end cards like the $919 evga black 3070 isn't getting fulfilled probably because the margin is a bit higher for either PLE or EVGA who knows.

2nd post so let me know what to fix

Edit - Marked as out of stock as last fulfilled order was 28/2 which is way too long ago now

      • yeah pretty dumb move

how are those series x and ps5 orders going?

        • +1

got x box on launch, saw another 10 opportunities to buy as well as ps5 if i wanted to at RRP
same cant be said of GPUs

        • series X and ps5 preorders are being fullfilled pretty quickly. So while they are sold out they are manufacturing enough that orders are being filled and occasionally stock is turning up on shelves (usually to be sold out again the same day). The contracts Sony and MS have for the manufacturing of these is part of the reasons for shortages elsewhere.

    • Ok Sherlock.

  • I don't think it's possible to try pre-ordering at below 1100 anyway, but…it's possible when you get it within the whole pre-built Techfast deal ($1500 with 10400f and 3070)

Pre-ordering a GPU now is as good as pretending that money disappeared for a year. Because you won't see the product you brought for that long.

    • Really glad I snagged a 6800 pre xmas, only just started looking for a card for my second machine and was stunned by the price increases and lack of stock. Makes me feel like a got a great deal at ~$1000

      • while buyers remorse has faded into thanos dust, never forget, even december prices were still bogus. you simply got fuked less than now.

        • The reality was I needed a card. had tried the preorder 3080 which I cancelled when I got lucky with grabbing a 6800 at a reasonable price. Pre xmas the prices were actually relatively ok for the performance offered (especially compared to last gen). The hike since then is a bit hard to stomach though and I will certainly be waiting a few months at least till I pull the trigger on the second card as it isn't needed right now. It is just sad I can resell my now 2 and half month old card for 20%+ more than I paid for it.

Not sure why anyone would upvote this?

Still waiting to receive a RTX3080 I ordered from PLE on release day.

Have you considered what happens to your money if they go bankrupt?
PLE are the dodgiest company computer store on the internet, the only one taking orders for products they have no stock of, nor any pending order from a wholesaler.
They would have hundreds of thousands of dollars of your money investing it possibly in high risk ventures . If you lose your money you're going to be partially to blame.

      • I considered that but am willing to take the risk in this instance.

Mind you, I have been able to pickup an RTX3070, RX6800XT, and RX6900XT for some of my systems to tide me over, whilst I wait for the 3080…

Can I ask, why buy a gfx card for more than either the new Xbox or PS5? You get a whole computer on either platform for less than a gpu alone! I don’t see buying a new gpu as worthwhile & prices would have to over halve for me to be persuaded otherwise!

    • because ETH is making gpu crypto mining money. Something your new xbox or ps5 can't unless you run a CFW on those.

  • Is there anywhere overseas that we can buy that's cheaper and ship to OZ?

    • There's next to no stock available worldwide….

Thought I'd give an update. I pre-ordered on the 28th of February for the 3070 xc3 ultra. Got an ETA for the 22nd of March yesterday. I'm guessing this will move back a little.

Don't think the 3080 queue at any outlet has moved unless you want to pay $1800+. Will give an update when I get my card.

    • Item has been shipped and should arrive in the next few days. So ended up being pretty much on ETA.

  • Got mine today from this, had a similar ETA of 20 something march

    • yeah same

    • nice, mine on their website shows next week 23rd.
Glad to hear people started receiving cards.

    • Did you just get a notification saying it had arrived out of the blue? I've got a card with an ETA this week but im picking it up from store.

Hoping to get it before easter!

      Cheers

    • Oh wow, do you know when you ordered it ?

Ordered on 26/3. Price is still $999
Updated with ETA of 20/4 today.

    • Ordered 10/3 and received today in Sydney. ETA for stock at warehouse was 12/4

    • My EVGA 3070 XC3 Ultra shipped 23/4 after ordering on the 26/3

  • Thinking of pulling the trigger on this. I dont mind waiting 30 days or more Im in no hurry. I just refuse to pay $1400+ for one thats in stock

My only question is, get this one or the MIS 3xoc one? Both around the same price

    • The originally mentioned card and the MSI 3X OC one isn't available for pre-order. They removed the eVGA card a short while ago.

There are a few other cards still available for pre-order. Wondering how long the pre-orders will take to be fore filled and also when the demand will subside.

      • You can still get the XC3 ultra. You are just ordering with an unknown time frame.

It seems to be somewhere in the neighbourhood of 3-6 weeks

        • I'm on week 3 at the moment. Hopefully it gets here soon. I should have placed an order earlier instead of thinking about it for such a long time.
