    I bought this from Banggood, it stopped working after 10 months. Xiaomi wouldn’t honour the warranty because Banggood is not an “authorise Australian reseller” and Banggood support is rather Bangbaad and after multiple attempts to get the issue resolved with no avail I threw it in the bin and got myself one from Bunnings. At least I know with an aussie store I can get a refund/replacement.

      I bought this on ebay for myself and friends. Both stopped pumping hot water. Xiaomi wasn't interested in because I didn't buy from them.

        I got the evaclean one. Functionality is similar to Xiaomi, but only has 3 buttons. All settings are adjusted through the remote control (kinda annoying, I set them once and put the remote away).
        The blue light that can’t be turned off from the seat is also annoying at night. I sleep in a very dark room and the light coming from the ensuite is disturbing. I tend to put the seat down to minimise it.
        Otherwise, it’s quite ok. It has blow dry with warm air which I never use. Takes longer to dry than to actually do your business.

      I've been considering getting one. Can I install it myself? Manual says you need a certified plumber to install but it looks pretty simple, just need to add the connection to the existing pipe that goes into the resevoir right?

      Same story here. We got just over a year out of it before it went haywire and eventually died. No recourse for warranty. Bought a whale spout instead and it's been great.

      My one purchased in Sep 2018 from Shoppro is still going strong… I've changed my filter annually (so twice now), so maybe that's the secret recipe?

    I have posted many times about my experience with Banggood to show ozbargain members the utter pain in the ass Banggood are it's not worth dealing with them just look at there reviews and other threads on ozbargain save yourself money, and time look elsewhere they should be banned.

    Whether there is warranty or not, I don't recommend this model as I bought 2 and both failed in less than 12 months. The water jet no longer function properly and just sprays erratically. Secondly, there is a filter which should be replaced every 6 months. But finding this item in Australia is actually quite difficult. The good news is that it probably doesn't matter anyway as the unit will likely fail before you ever need to replace the filter.

    Damn good price if the bloody things ever lasted..I haven seen any other Xiaomi product with such bad build. Better buy Bunnings/Kogan/Fleabay in that order ..whatever is cheapest.. this is one Xiaomi product that is a POS..But have ordered heaps from banggood ..upload a faulty product video and they try to help you out so cant really blame them. Well cant have it all folks ..want replacement warranty, return if you dont like it buy local dont buy half price from overseas
