Just wanted to give everyone a warning if they consider the model above this with the RTX 2060 and i7 10750H (also currently on sale [$1798]). The RTX 2060 model does NOT have a 144Hz screen. The screen is only 60Hz. There are reviews on the product's page saying some of HN's sales people had said it was 144Hz.
The 1650ti version can’t even get 144fps in most games.
Gaming isn't the only application.
Grabbed on these for the son on the weekend. Hopefully the refresh thing shouldn't be a major issue.
You can go lower than 144, I can run about 120 playing fortnite which is a lot better than 60
Considering you've got the 2060 model @fishsquared. Is the 2060 gpu the max-q version or is it the full fat, full flavoured 2060?
I have this and would recommend a laptop cooling pad as the fans get so loud when thermals go up.
