      Only for the challenge activation (“Earn more” tab). Purchase can be made on any platform. It can be charged in USD as I did last time and got my cashback. Keep in mind that it excludes the GST.

    Has anyone ever had something track from the wrong store, and the wrong app? I just bought a $9 bottle of wine through ShopBack on the First Choice Liquor site to get this bonus, and soon after I got tracking for the sale from Cashrewards, saying it was purchased through Vintage Cellars. Very confused, wondering if anyone else has experienced this and whether or not it will track through ShopBack.

          Doesn't work with ebay, doesn't work with amazon if there is no cashback in category, doesn't work with ali. But it is "any store".
          They should just outline where they want us to buy then and on what conditions. Surely you need to work hard for the $5.

              And to be fair the terms and conditions for all of these bonuses are almost identical, if you've done it once the next time is a no brainer.

                I have been doing these for a couple of years now and no, the original ones were very different and then they gradually changed adding layers after layers of extra conditions.

                I think what we need is more examples of how you could actually make it work.

                  @Musiclover: So have I, the conditions have always been the same as far as I'm aware. Store policies change but that's not on SB/CR, and when there are store specific bonuses I imagine that's something they work out among themselves.

                  The exclusions list is small, listing examples that should work would be more complicated and less useful.

                  @CyberMurning: The terms and conditions for all of these bonuses are almost identical, meaning that if you have read and understood them once; for the next bonus you can skim through, maybe pay attention to any extra clauses.

                      Have you been having tracking issues with eBay? As long as it's not in the excluded categories and you're not using a coupon it should track, at least for me eBay has been solid.

                          @CyberMurning: Well it's always been a gamble somewhat, tracking isn't perfect, I have had claims denied and approved by both companies. Best to buy because you want it rather than to chase a bonus, that has always been how I go into these things.

                          As for it becoming more of a gamble, I disagree, if you read the terms then your chances are the same.

                          What on earth are you talking about when you say 'asking too much' and 'someone will get hurt'?

          Yeah I need to buy a small potentiometer for a mouse scroll wheel because the pointer is constantly jumping around the screen driving me nuts. It's only a few cents so it's embarrassing ordering just 1 or 2 with free shipping. So when I saw this cashback I figured I'd buy $5 worth of them, get them for free, but the seller isn't thinking I'm scum (or worse, not bothering to ship it at all).

          Make it easier for us Shopback or just don't bother: dump stores that make it difficult. I know you still make money while we have to jump through hoops, but it's wasting our valuable time trying to work out what we can or can't buy. Which only irritates and loses customers.

    Have others had AliExpress track immediately? I placed an order but two hours later it's not showing.
    Shopback says it takes two days to track but I thought it's usually immediate if it is going to track at all.

          Nice, another thing CR does better with AliExpress is approving the cashback, I'm not sure when it started but as soon as you confirm delivery in AliExpress CR very quickly approves cashback.

          SB can learn from them, competition is good.
