    100W must 5A USB C cable. 20V5A=100W. 100W cable must pass by E-MARK

    its fine for mobile charge, as most uses 55w at most. not fine for laptops.

        I think most of us here have a stack of USB C cables though and aren't in urgent need of one.

  Can anyone recommend a decent quality Type C - Type C cable that is 1 foot/30cm or less, and under $10 delivered?

  I've found usb A - usb C that length, but everything that is Type C on both ends seems to come at a premium.

      I really just want to plug my phone to my laptop, and a full metre is total overkill. 50cm isn't unreasonable though so I might go with that.

        Ah, you have one of those laptops with only USB C ports?

        If you have a USB A port, you can use this A-C 25cm cable for $1.97 USD + $0.49 shipping + GST.

        You won't get PD 60W charging, but your laptop was never going to deliver that wattage to your phone anyway.

        With 1M cables, what I do is use the included velcro strap to coil around the excess cabling.
