Not in a hurry but couldn’t help to pick one up for this price to tinker with and see how it performs against the NanoHD and Flex.
Do you have problems with the software on your nanohd and flexhd? I'm having spontaneous reboots and "unadoptions" and honestly don't know where to begin troubleshooting!

For those unaware, the Pro just entered early access with Ubiquiti so it’ll likely be a 6+ month wait locally. Price in USD will put it in the $200’s somewhere. Its priced between the 6 Lite and the 6 LR.
It does look like a good option but for people in the market close to the end of the year.

Yeah it’s currently cheaper than the LR in early access, but price may change for general availability. The Lite / Pro / LR in USD are $99 / $149 / $179 USD. Current AU availability seems to have the Lite obtainable for generally around $170-200AUD (ebays 20% Afterpay sale excluded which takes it to $145) and the LR for $310AUD (should drop as stocks more readily available). I’d expect $250ish locally for the Pro which is pretty similar to where the AC pro has sat for much of its run.

The prices may be skewed a bit as even if the LR has the higher RRP, as it’ll have been out a while by the time the Pro ships, the two may end up being closer at actual retail prices.
ETA on U6-Pro release?
There isn't an ETA. My guess is mid year at the earliest.
Not for some time. It only just entered early access. 6+ months wouldn’t be unlikely I imagine.
The 6 LR also had a month between preorders and shipments I think, although Xmas possibly contributed to delays as they opened the orders up in December for certain markets. Preorders would open up after the early access runs its course and that can be a variable length of time.

MediaTek; they won’t end of life this for several years.
U6-Pro; no current ETA. Unifi haven’t started shipping them to other countries yet.
They are a great AP the lites. I installed 27 of them in Jan.
Ordered on Sunday, they flagged 1 month delivery time, received today (Wed)
Talk about under promising over delivering, kudos wireless 1Mines coming today as well - but I note that they ETA is now end of May for new purchases on their website
Note that U6-LITE and U6-LR both use MediaTek chips, which Ubiquiti intends to discontinue due to technical difficulties. If you’re not in a hurry, it might be better to wait for the U6-PRO to come out, which uses Broadcom chips and have much higher throughput on the 5GHz band.
