Alienware Aurora R11 Gaming Desktop with i9 10900F CPU, 64GB RAM, 512GB SSD, RTX 3080 $3,815.28 Delivered @ Dell eBay

620
PDLT20

Slightly expensive than last time, but there is a RAM upgrade from 32GB to 64GB.

Considering that RTX 3080s have gone up in price, it is still a great deal. The CPU is a beast as well.

  • Where's the price?

Edited: OP added the price, just as i posted

Oh gotta love me some punani

    • +1

There is no chance that is an accident of design.

      • +4

I knew you wood say that

    • +1

Is it ripe? Let me feel it. I'll buy two!

  • +1

Any part picker comparisons in the chat? :p

    • +1

I think it would be pretty good value considering the GPU, CPU and RAM

    • +3

Theres about 3 grand worth of Gpu, Cpu and ram there so I would say its a decent price.
There no doubt the graphics card will become way cheaper in years to come, so it just depends how soon you want the latest and greatest performance.

    • Not sure it's worthwhile googling blue/green ……

There's probably a category suited to your request or maybe just search for "fans".

  • are these the gpu that are throttled and not the retail types? im not talking about the mining instructions..

  • +2

during the more than frequent ebay 20% sales one can pick up top quality parts for like:
    10850K $500
    64GB RAM $500
    SSD: $100
    MOBO: $250
    PSU: $180
    CASE: $200

    cooler: $200

    $1930
Value the 3080 for like 2K is insane IMO, unless you really have to have it RIGHT NOW.

Plus: you do get a case that surely impress your girl friend.

    • +1

Yes, it's no secret that you can build a PC with similar or better components for around the same price, but pre-built computers are not marketed towards those people.

    • +2

3080 prices are still going up as availability is just getting worse. If you want a PC come Christmas time sure you can use more reasonable 3080 pricing.

      • +6

3080 stock won't get better before the end of the year. I wouldn't count on getting one at reasonable pricing for Christmas 2021.

      • +1

there were some 6800xt going for $1400 before that ppl made fun of….that card bears 3080 in gaming - but not rtx……paying 2k for 3080 or adm is a no brainer

        • unfortunately, RTX is better than AMD at VR…

    • +4

      512gb m2 plus 1tb sata for $100? Free Windows 10?

    • +2

      you misspelled waifu

    • +4

Msi is expecting shortage to remain throughout 2021. So far we've had the pandemic, 2 different fab fires and now a drought is expected to impact chip production. Pre built's are looking like the best option for the foreseable future.

    • Dell mobo is not$250

but you can call yourself lucky if you could get hand on 3080 for 2k.

Crazy I know but that's the world we living in.

  • +3

Call me crazy but this seems like a decent price.. does it come with lube?

    • +1

      Dell comes preinstalled with paste

  • +5

I read this as an RTX 3080 for $3815 with a free Alienware PC attached.

That being said, whilst it does sound reasonable given current GPU shortages/prices, I'm also doubtful of the Alienware OEM 3080's if previous Dell/Alienware GPUs are an indicator of (lack of) cooling system prowess.

Dell: “ok team. Let’s develop one of the most powerful gaming PCs we can”

    Team: “hell yes!”

Dell: “excellent! We also need it to look like a minge”

    Team: “…..”

  • 3080 ti next month or two

    • What bout 3090ti?

      • Not in the rumour mill so far.

    • +3

Can’t even get a 3080 let alone a ti lmao.

      • There will be few 3080 Ti in the first 5 minute of launch date. Heck there is still Geforce 3060 stitting in overprice stock.

        • +1

That’s 5 min longer than the 3080/90 launch. I’m pressing x to doubt.

    • with 12gb of vram…

  • Can it run Doom?

    • +1

      Providing you overclock it.

    • +1

      Is Doom the new Crysis?

  • +5

Loved these little guys in the Portal games.

  • +1

Good deal, the sub-optimal thermals of the case are a deal breaker for me. Unless I get more desperate..

  • +6

FWIW I bought one in the sale late last year.. It runs very noisy and pumps out cubic meters of hot air out the top but the thing is a beast… Happy with the performance out of the thing but im glad I play with headphones on.

Fresh landfill hot off the presses for ya lads. Get that up ya.

    looks like an alien vagene

Different paint job and this could be Pickle Rick or add some antennae and it's Plankton from SpongeBob.

  • Fml.. would have matched my 38" Alienware pc nicely.. instead I've got a part list waiting on PLE to fulfil (part-shipped otherwise would have cancelled)

  • It's looks very visually appealing to me

  • +1

IMO if you have solar and cypto coin prices stay where they are now, you can probably make the purchase price by Christmas so good investment.

  • Nicehash tells me I can make 8.63aud/day with this with an electricity rate of 0.30cents/Kwh.

    • You could make even more if you don't use nicehash to mine (founded by a convicted cyber criminal btw).

      • +1

        what do you use?

        • ethermine pool and for the miner ethminer or t-rex if you have Nvidia
For a AMD gpu PhoenixMiner or LOLminer
i have a few wallets coinspot is an aussie one and blockchain because i used it for awhile with out any issues

  • +1

$2879.28 for the 3070 version. Why no one talks about it

    • +1

Yes that's a good question. Thanks for the reference. At Least a saving of $400.

      • +1

Maybe check this one out if tempted, this is direct and has a screen and other accessories. The secondary drive is bigger and I think the CPU has more grunt, if I read correctly. It's a little more ($3,635.46), but the extras might be worth it.

      As that is i7 only?

      • The 3070 on eBay has the F
        10th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 10700F (8-Core, 16MB Cache, 2.9GHz to 4.8GHz w/Turbo Boost Max 3.0)
        and this has the KF
        10th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 10700KF (8-Core, 16MB Cache, 3.8GHz to 5.1GHz w/Turbo Boost Max 3.0)

        • Yeah. I was reponding to the comment why noone is talking about 3070 version compared to this. This one has i9 and 3070 one has i7 is what I meant to check/share.

  • I wonder how much would it be for the "generic" version of a PC with this spec? Taking into account the inflated price of 3080 atm.

  • No response on ebay messages when I enquired about area 51 price. Poor service is scary.
