I'll never understand the axe throwing thing.

Just buy an axe from bunnings and go to your local reserve and go nuts.

    • +1

axe cost money, this is free

      • I'm not talking about this voucher.

    • +1

      your local reserve

And what do you throw the axe in to?

      Kill some trees?

          JV?

    • throw axes at living trees?

    • I reckon it's more about the team activity. You know, something your company can pay for, a place that is safe for everyone, even with that weird colleague who gets this spark in his eyes whenever he sees sharp things, and you get somebody literally telling you how to do it - just in case you grew up with zero control over your body and never threw anything other than your studies.

  • Can you stack multiple vouchers - I.e for 2 adults

    • +4

I couldn’t. Had to book individually.

      • so how do I take my tinder there??

      • Ok great thanks for that.

  • Very boring activities, even for free!

    • the skywalk looks fun

      • No. That's where you go when your Mrs complains you don't spend enough time with her.

        • +1

          and leave her there?

  • Thanks heaps OP!

  • The child ticket costs more than adult tickets…

    • buy 2 adults…

I want to support my favorite… stress relief place in the CBD.

I took my niece to timezone with my vouchers :D

    • Thanksssss never thought of this as part of Discover!

    • Timezone to relive my youth lol.

  • Booked the Skywalk with one of my vouchers; looking forward to it as someone who used to work at the bottom of Centrepoint Tower!

I went on a Sydney Opera House tour on the weekend (not the one on Klook); worth going on if you like your architecture and history.

    • Was the 40 ish bucks one right? I'm considering doing that too

      • I went on a Sydney Opera House tour on the weekend (not the one on Klook)

It's not on Klook, and it's not offered at the moment as it was part of the Culture Up Late initiative by the NSW government

    • Was it still worth doing even with the major renovations?

      • Only major renovation is the Concert Hall. Still worth doing, especially if you've never been inside the Opera House before

        • Sadly that's the part I wanted to see most.

          • @first in line: You'll have to wait until 2022 then and only if there's nothing on in there at the time you visit. Or buy a ticket to a show there when it reopens next year.

If the NSW Government/Sydney Opera House bring it back, it's worth going on The House After Dark tour (which is the tour I went on). Mainly billed as a ghost tour, but you get to see backstage areas and visit a few theatres (I visited the Joan Sutherland Theatre, including the orchestra pit, and the Studio when I went), and there's a lot of history about the House that you get to learn about during the tour.

  • Thanks

FYI Klook is a Hong Kong company, just incase you wanted to actually support local.

  • If only the vouchers were available to people living in my council area …

  • One person can only use one coupon per day.

  • +2

Some places are doubling the $25 dine amount.

  • Anyone have difficulty selecting tower eye skywalk for 1 person (due to no stacking of voucher)? Klook says minimum requirement of 2 people which defeats the purpose of the vouchers.

    • No; was able to book for one person, however this was week before last.

      • -1

        Review of that place please?

        • Where did I say I already went? 🙄 I said I booked. Plus, reviews are plenty on the internet.

        • +2

I've been on the Skywalk about 12ish years ago.

It's fun to get a different view of Sydney, the platform is cool and safe, but if you're scared of heights, be wary, especially if its a windy day.

    • +1

Is it just me or did they entirely remove the skywalk activity? I don't see it anymore

      • i got

I've found it again but it's reverted back to original price

  • +2

It looks like the Sydney Tower Eye Skywalk isn't a free with voucher activity anymore. It's now showing as $25 off regular price. #sadpanda

  • For Sydney Aquarium, if you pick the "Dine & Discover NSW Eligible - General Entry Ticket" option, then it only allows a maximum of 1 Adult ticket.
I guess if you want to go with people, each adult would need to create their own Klook account first, then book separately (with a small risk that the entry date/time you wanted could be sold out between making the separate bookings) ?

    • Curious to know how you went. I've got the same question.
