      Yeah can confirm regarding service. Raised a billing query 2 weeks ago, received a support call on the same day had to re-explain everything. I was promised someone will call me back in 2 days. Those 2 days never arrived. Last week received an email that the ticket has been closed without providing any feedback/reasoning. Shocking.
      Will be raining a complaint soon. Customer of Belong from last 7 years. I guess I should move away from them now.

    Your internet is down? Well you are s*!t out of luck, buddy. You will have to raise a service request, then sacrifice a chicken, and if you are lucky you might get a call from a Belong rep.

    Besides, I don't know of many OzBargainers who sign up to 12-month long contracts. We are the bunch who churn out as soon as we find a better deal.

    My household and in-laws that I help just renewed another 12 months with Belong to keep the $55 pm cost for their standard speed and according to google wifi my average for the past 30 days has been 33 down and 18 up. I have no complaints that said, I have had little to no issue with the service going down.

    They quietly downgrade the speed boost from 100/40 to 100/20 without notice while they are still charging me the same price. Very dodgy business practise.

    Keep your expectations low with support.

    Honestly, who tf knows what it's like being a Telstra Worker!

    Probably the same as being on the dole.

    Telstra will literally waste hours and hours of your life taking every opportunity to rob you of your time. Their support is non-existent. Their customer service peeps seriously enjoy f**king around with you for hours and even days on end.

    Optus has way better support.

    • Very strange decision, they should have added more staff as more more people are more reliant on home internet for work, strange to see them go other way.

  • Yeah they gone down the hill pretty badly. I am with them since past 3yrs , recently had an issue and shocking to see that they closed their contact centre and can only communicate via email. Took them forever to call back and solve the issue. Really bad for service provider. I am switching everything away from belong now

  • I'm here because i'm looking for a better NBN provider.

    Moving to a new place, Belong booked me in for an installation four months later, four months….. i can't believe.

    • Run far away from belong , their service gone down the hill . There is no way you can call them and their service will call you most awkward times and no way to call them back

      • You would think that after getting rid of their call center, they would pass on the savings to the customer by offering cheaper high bandwidth plans… NOPE! They first want you to be locked into a 12-month contract with a sh**ty Sagemcom router (which they can remotely control and lock down). Those greedy dodgy bastards!!! Stay far away!

  • Well wish me luck. I just signed up for this deal before reading this post… Urrrhh… Not feeling so confident now given the feedback. But having said that, I have had good experiences with thier chat function and I'm also a belong mobile customer so I find the app also works well. Fingers crossed the internet works well in my area.
