So essentially $90 a month each, or $25 a month for the phone, so $600 for the phones if you pay full price on Optus. It’s ok, I guess? Jb $500 deal is better in my opinion, only locked in for a year at least

i work for a telco, avg. data usage for avg.(most people) millennial is around 40-50GB, which you can easily get on a $35 Vodafone plan or plenty of under $40 plans from other mvno's or telcos, paying $65 is a way inflated price, considering how much data you need vs how much you get. so you technically paying $625 for each phone, plus another $25(at least) inflated extra price for 24 months. in reality you are paying $1225 for each phone. that too for the least selling/not practical 64gb variant. not much of a deal. *data is backed up by years of experience and witnessing avg usage for tens of thousands of customers.

the best way out is looking for a straight outright purchase and signing up for a cheap prepaid plan. this will save you the most money/headaches/credit checks/unnecessary late payment fees.

I'm guessing these Millennials don't have NBN at home and just use their mobiles. I surf and stream music on phone and maybe 20 gig a month at most, typically less. It's just interesting how habits are evolving and people using mobiles like my gen did home PC's with a fixed line.

    $1247 - 1st iPhone 12
    $0 - 2nd iPhone 12
    $3120 - For the two $65/mo plan

Total of $4367 for 2 iPhones and two plan is notva deal.

This is a joke! Buy the phone outright then get a prepaid or postpaid from JB (with GC).
