This is a handy deal for those Amaysim customers on PAYG plan (me). If you make a few calls a week, and send some texts too, it won't take long to hit $8 spent in the month. And forget using data on that PAYG plan - you'd get stuff all under $8 worth….
I used the targeted free renewal 2GB/28d offer on my PAYG plan - to extend the service for another year. They also added $10 credit!
Was sent a SMS code (to verify a change in an account) to a 2 year old Amaysim SIM today that only had credit for first month.
Amaysim is very handy to park phone number / use for offers for at least a year after "Unlimited" plan expires.
Strange anonymous negs for handy valid advice!
My advice only got upvoted in other Amaysim Deals.
Using this or other cheap / free Amaysim RENEWAL Deals to extend the life of your old Amaysim SIM & number to receive calls & SMS for at least a further year (past the 28 days) - is one of the main advantages.
Has even extended up to 2 years after the plan ran out - as I stated.
Handy having a spare incoming number in some Deals😉
Can then port that "parked" number out when you want.
Same can be done with this Deal for $8.
Been doing this for years.
After all, this Targeted Deal is only for those with an existing Amaysim SIM - that is due for Renewal, like mine was in previous Offer.

This offer totals 336 days with 24GB for $96… If you are already with Amaysim & receive the offer.
1 year of minimal data for $106. Not great.
Last month Amaysim offered a targeted 1 year with 120GB for $100
(Am on a Deal with Ozsale Mobile for 3 months of 70GB/mth for a total cost of $10. Couldn't imagine paying more for only 2GB/28d)
Similarly, to keep us with Amaysim - some of us were sent offers on the weekend of 3 x $10 renewals for $2 each, after we had already received a free renewal - so 4 months for $6. No thanks.
