Dell 24 UltraSharp Monitor: U2415 $289
Condition: AS NEW (see below)
Warranty: 3Yr Premium Panel Warranty, Advanced Exchange Service Warranty
Quantity Available: 20

Dell U2415 is an IPS 16:10 aspect ratio WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution monitor which provides 11% more on-screen real estate (compared to the more common 16:9 1920 x 1080 monitors). U2415 is a U Series or 'UltraSharp' monitor and sits at the premium end of Dell's monitor range (E Series, S Series, P Series, UltraSharp, UltraSharp PremierColor / Alienware).

It looks like the U2415 is in runout mode, as it is no longer listed on dell.com.au. The UltraSharp U2421E w/ USB-C (RRP $509) seems to be the replacement for the U2415.

I've installed 100s of these, they're great monitors, the backlights when on the odd one but beyond that there were no issues. You can daisy-chain them via DisplayPort too

  • How many years young are the 20 sets in stock?
Does Dell (or its supplier) still assemble the 2014-released model after 2017/ 2018?

My u2410f from 12/10 is going strong. So relax even if its old stock.

  • Dell has had much better specc'd S series IPS 27" QHD monitors for sale at similar price. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/597847
I've got two of them and they're fantastic!

(I do realise this is a different range, however, S series is just as good).

With ultrasharp you have a higher spec panel that has been individually QCed and colour calibrated.
Anyway, these are suitable for cubicle farms or home office desks.

      im pretty

      Hello, pretty boy.

The aspect ratio of these is great for productivity. I've got 3 of these lined up together and it is a delight to use!

    • +5

I did an install with 10 on each desk (5x2), not a bad little setup

      • The dream…

  • +2

I'd buy 2 of these immediately, but still have two U2410s + one spare. 16:10 ultrasharps are awesome.

  • +6

Love my 16:10 screen, not too many companies make that aspect anymore

    • +3

      Upvoted for 16:10.

Dell went back to 16:10 with the U2421E, installed a couple of these a month or so ago. They replaced other Dell Ultrasharps that got rotated to other desks, you cannot go wrong with a dell U monitor.

you cannot go wrong with a dell U monitor

        sure you can… I've had 2 exchanges for U3415W.

My new S2721Q is just as good as U2718Q, minus factory calibration.

    • God yes. I need a 144hz ips in 16:10

  • +1

Dell makes some awesome monitors. I got one 10 years ago 19:10 ratio ultrasharp. Still going strong.

    • 19:10 ratio ultrasharp Dell

You sure it's Dell, not Pell.

We’ve got the exact same model from a few years back, really solid quality for this price, we paid ~US$260.

Looks nice with thin bezel if you want to stack them together. They do reflect a bit in day light but I’ve found the brightness to be good enough to counter it. They do also rotate 90 degrees if you’re wondering.

How does U2415 compared to Lenovo ThinkVision T24d-10?

  • +1

I like the U models for work and general home use - I've had 2405, then 3007, already have 2x 2415s working with a U2720Q.
I much prefer the 16:10 ratio compared to 16:9

  • +1

Agree 16:10 is awesome for the extra screen height/space for 24". I've also had a 2405, and bought two used u2412m from eBay for $215 delivered at the start of the pandemic when everything was getting cleaned out. Have given to a mate for now. Recommended

  • The S2721Q is similarly priced, newer and has vastly superior specs (27in IPS @3840 x 2160 resolution). I'd personally get this one instead.

  • +1

These are worth it for the 3 year premium warranty alone, although with the quality of the monitors you likely won't need it. I'm another one who's had Dell U panels in the past and found their longevity is amazing.

Just purchased 3 to replace my 2x 13yo 24" monitors. Thanks OP!

Also time to upgrade my desk…….

    • +1

I had 3 x 24 until recently when I took the plunge for a U3818DW. 3x24 is very wide if you aren't going to be using them in portrait mode - about 110-120cm I think.

      • +1

        I got 2x 32" curved and it's pretty awesome

      • Pretty wide. My old 2408 with thick bezel measures 56cm each. And multiply that by 3 = 168….

  • +1

Great monitor. Had 2 of them before getting a U3818DW, kept my old U2412H as a secondary. In hindsight I should've kept one of the U2415s.

Bought them refurbed from megabuy for about 200, one of them had a dead pixel and they were really good with replacing it. They had more scratches on the bases than a Dell refurb usually has.

  • Looks like it's out of stock

    • Thanks … marked as OOS
