    problem is serrated knives tend to tear flesh (preferrably not your own but rather part of a meal ) so the juice runs out of steaks, etc quicker, non serrated makes a cleaner cut, less juice losses, try cutting a tomatoe with serrated knife and see how much juice runs out vs with a sharp non-serrated knife.

    you can get thin round diamonds sharpening rods, designed for serrated edges , it’s worth it for bread knives if you have a premium one e.g shun, global, wursthof , etc but these victorinox knives are so cheap you wouldn’t spend time sharpening unlike bread knifes, etc.
