  • Nice !

Are these dudes part of the five eye club?

    • what's five eye club?

      • +1

Australia, New Zealand, US, Canada, UK maybe

        • Yep those dudes.. They share all of our special secrets with each other.

          • @[Deactivated]: I see, I think we are naked from CIA's point of view regardless, so no difference.

  • probably.. Headquarters New York, USA

    • Cheers..

  • If your looking for Netflix USA and BBC iPlayer. Get DNS4Me it’s cheaper and works really well.

    • ok.. price and link ? thanks

      • https://dns4me.net/pricing Use free trial

You don’t need to connect and disconnect anything and no speed bumps. If you find promo code it’s great.

        • free trial is only for 7 days and after that sign up 1/3/6/ or 12 mths. 12 mth is for USD$38.80, how is it cheaper than this deal ?

          • @cezasu: it's not, it's actually a totally different product. It's not secure, but it's much faster if you just want to stream OS stuff. No bandwidth limitations.

@M00Cow: yes i know that .. and i dont mind trying if it's cheap and sustainable.

  • they often give 6 months free, better try that before jumping, their servers often do down to kbps while streaming.

    • yes i signed up their free 6mths deal found here and found them to be alright so decided to continue/pay to support them.

initial setup can be abit different from the other vpns i have but overall the experience i have with them is great!

      • had issues with hotstar multiple times. glad its working for you

        • I just get a few of these "unlimited" vpn subscription and rotate among them.. so far still working ok..

if it breaks down (haven't encounter yet for keepsoild) .. then i will switch to another one until it breaks .. and continue the cycle.

    • doesn't works with prime..

      • I don't use prime so i dont know…

here's what wikipedia has to say:

KeepSolid VPN Unlimited claims to provide high-quality, secure servers, and to strive to develop their server presence.[10] Along with common VPN servers, the software features 3 streaming servers - for Netflix, BBC iPlayer, and Hulu, respectively. While torrents are forbidden on most of the servers, at least 5 servers officially allow torrenting.

    That's what she said.

    • it's blue as well.

  • +3

Be aware that it's not actually 5 "devices".

You get 5 "slots". If you install a browser extension and a Windows client on the same machine, that counts as 2 "slots".

If you create a Wireguard config for one country and another config for another country and put onto the same router, again that's 2 "slots"

If you need to delete a "slot" then you can only delete once per week.

Takes a bit of getting use too and not as flexible as some other providers but you get use to it.

Sounds like a pain-in-the-arse to deal with. And their brand name doesn't particularly inspire confidence as well.

  • Where is the trial?

  • +1

Lifetime VPN subscriptions are a bad idea. Those offering them are likely on the verge of being insolvent and desperate for cash. Pass.

  • I’ve been with Surfshark for a while and I can’t fault them..

Also, they are based in the British Virgin Islands, away from the sneaky five

    • -1

ok if they have free trial or lifetime subscription let us know.. will give them a try too..

    • Same here, still need to play around with advance settings/features & check it's speed impact/test more often.
Got it for 3 years with their promo a few years ago.

    • BVI is a tax haven not a security haven. Defence, security, and diplomatic roles are the responsibility of the British government.

Even if they say they don't log, publish transparency reports, (eg. Windscribe), whatever … in the end it's still down to whether you are willing to trust them.

PureVPN is based in Hong Kong and yet still helped the FBI

  • I’ve had this for about 4 years now. No major issues so far. It’s worth it for the cost.

    • +1

Only issue for me is that you can only remove 1 device a week.

  • I am using it for last 3 years …its worth for its money…..

    • Does it work with torrenting?

      • I don't use for torrents…because I don't know where to find torrents now.

        • Just had a look at the client. Torrents isn't something I use.

The following servers show as torrent compatible:

          Canada - Ontario
          France - Paris
          Luxembourg - Roost Bissen
          Romania - Bucharest
          USA -California

For streaming it actually has as service rather than a country:
          Amazon Prime
          BBC iPlayer
          Disney +
          HBO Now
          Hostar
          Hulu
          Netflix
          Popcornflix
          RAI.TV
          Sony Crackly
