MacBook Air - $100 Cheaper Than Apple Store

15

I just noticed that Kogan has listed some laptops for pretty good prices.

You can get the MacBook air for about $100 cheaper than the Apple store.

Also, I was on live chat to them and the laptops that are over $1000 come with a full tax invoice so you can claim your GST back when you travel.

All the Apple laptops come with full international warranty.

i suggest waiting for a 10% off deal. They are frequent enough to wait for one.

It might be $100 cheaper, but what about shipping costs? $19.00 delivered to Syd metro, so it's not $100 cheaper anymore.

  • jump into most JB hifi or DSE and they will give you s 10% discount no problems. Even if you go into apple store their floor staff are authorised to give 10% without manager approval

  • 10% discount is quite easily achievable.

  • 10% off is the norm for most Apple products

Myer is currently having $100 off on all apple laptops - online and instore

Would wait till myer has the gift card sale, with free $50 or something for every $500, then use an EDU discount as well as your myer one card + david jones price match on 10% discount etc.

      Wow … educational price + 10% off?….

You've done this before right?… or are you talking out of your….

  • nothing new

  • Slightly off topic here but if you are planning on getting your laptop duty free there are two things you should probably consider:
    1. You will need to take it with you,
    2. If you are travelling alone and you bring more than $900 worth of electrical goods into australia you will be end up paying extra duties and taxes.

    • Isn't that only if you bring new goods?
