I got appliance central to price match the good guys on a CX OLED because I couldn't get GG stock.

  • I actually picked it up on the weekend at GG for $2900. Delivered on Sunday :)

    • nice pricing!! would you mind sharing which store and a copy of the receipt please?

    • What state? Couldn't find any near me in Melbourne :(

Just floor models although with the concierge thinking burn in is covered

    • Nice work, the best I could manage was $3000 at GG and $3050 at JBHIFI. Both doesn’t include delivery, I think it’s $59 extra.

      • Can someone put up receipt with proof of any purchase $3000 or under please I’m trying to get a store match

    • can you please send receipt of cx 65?

      • Hi have you got any receipt for the cx65 please? Or anyone? Thanks

  • The 65" CX is pretty much out of stock in NSW, not just for TGG but multiple major retailers. I've tried several major retailers over the past week and all of them was OOS (except for demo display models, which you should run fast from for an OLED TV). Although it seems like other states might still be in luck, and great for those who purchased using credit cards with Price Protection policies.

    • Use appliance central and call them to match tgg. Just got them to match the 77 cx at $6115

      • I didn't try as their website said sold out. I'm in the market for a 65", 77 is too big. Bought elsewhere already.

Thanks for sharing the info though =) hope others can find it useful.

  • this is jsut shy of $800 cheaper than i bought it for 3 months ago, I wish i waited and got the newer version, actually i wish I splurged an extra 2k for the 75"

    • Maybe you have a Price Guarantee with your Credit card (if you bought it with that).

I finally thought I could try and use my BW Credit Card price protection having bought one a few weeks ago.. but the terms on it are horrendous now I'm really looking into it. "if, within 21 days of the purchase, they advise us that they have, subsequent to their purchase, received a printed catalogue showing the same personal goods for a lower price from a store within 25 kilometres of the store that the personal goods were purchased, and the price difference is greater than $75." plus "original personal goods are purchased in a store (not online)" sigh .. oh well I was happy paying $3400 at the time.

      • If it makes you feel any better I paid $3800 in January. I could only find one in stock anywhere near me.

I checked my credit card price guarantee, but the terms are it has to be within 21 days, and needs to be advertised.

        Great TV, no regrets.
