  • oh, $10 OFF. As you were.

    • Hey mate! Yes, its $10 off on all our plans for 12 months. No contracts. You can cancel anytime without incurring any termination fees.

    • I was tempted to join, but I’ve read too many complaints. Lacking customer service, ridiculous excess data charges, dodgy data measurements, hard to terminate. FELIX Mobile is a better deal if you get good Vodafone signal - Unlimited data, No contract for only $35pm.

      • Can Felix sim card be used in a 4g broadband WIFI router as a replacement of home internet? Would it potentially get banned?

        • According to them:

"Tethering permitted to personal devices only, but must not be used in a modem or as a substitute for a home internet service. Fair Use Policy applies."

I don't know how they enforce that. Safer to use a mobile phone and then use it as Wifi hotspot.

isn't this company banned from here?

  • +2

read the cancellation process is helluva painful and delayed & denied, figuratively running around in circles

any current users or recently switched? How was the experience?
How long did it take you to port-out. at the end?

    • +2

Hi mate! For our termination process, you can simply go to https://au-shop.circles.life/manage/order and enter your date of birth and phone number to proceed. Once logged in, click on Terminate order and you should be able schedule the termination from there. (Note: If you will port out your number, you don't have to process the termination, your number/service with us will automatically be terminated as soon as you have successfully activated your number to a different provider.)

For port process, if your existing number is from Vodafone/Telstra, it will take 4 hours max to complete. For Optus customers, it will be around 24 hours to be completed. During the transfer, your current sim card will still work and once that stopped working, that means that the Circles.Life sim card is all good to use. That way, there won't be a time that you won't have a working phone.

For further questions, just give us a DM on Facebook/IG or hop on our live chat and our Customer Happiness experts will be there to assist. Cheers!

I ported out to telstra and it was smooth.

I would have considered but just figured out that there is no voicemail with their service. That will be a deal breaker for me :-(

    • Hey there! We totally understand that and we truly appreciate you considering this deal that we have. Its something that our team is currently working on with the help of our partner network. For now, what we offer is missed call service (Turned on by default) where in the caller can still leave a voice message and it will be sent to you via MMS.
As soon as the voicemail feature becomes available on our service, we'll surely let you know so stay tuned! Cheers

    • I'm getting out for that reason - absolute must-have for me, didn't check because I assumed everyone had it. That's on me for not doing my homework though, they've been fine apart from that

      • We understand how important voicemail for you which is why we're working as quick as possible on getting this feature added on our service. For now, since we still don't have it yet, we would truly understand should you proceed to leave us. As soon as we have this feature added, we'll be grateful to have you back! Thanks for the support!

  • 100GB for $28 seems good value to me, won't bother getting NBN if I can get the same speeds as I do with Amaysim who also use Optus

    • I am totally with you on that. We're also partnered with Optus and we're using their 4G Network. Should you decide to sign up with this, just go to https://www.circles.life/au and click on Get a sim under your preferred plan.

If you have further questions regarding the service, just hop on our live chat or give us a DM on Facebook/Instagram and our Customer happiness experts will be there to assist. Cheers

Circles.Life put a credit check on your credit file when you sign up. Buyer beware.

    • Yes, that's actually correct. We perform credit checks during sign up since its a standard process for postpaid plans. All our plans are under postpaid service. Should you need further assistance, you can check FAQs through this link here: https://circlesaustraliasupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us Cheers!

yeah and that's why folks go with Catch Connect or Kogan or others.

yeah no thanks these guys are cheap but no help what so-ever if there's an issue, in my experience. "You get what you pay for"… as they say..

In my case, they blocked my service because they said I owed money
(not much - about 20 bucks IIRC and I didn't realise.. there was a mixup/misunderstanding somewhere I THINk to do with promo codes/referral credits etc.. or something like that which OK my fault I should have paid more attention.)

So they cut me off, NO SERVICE FOR YEW TIL YOU PAY UP!

I only realise this after my SIM is suddenly not working at all, and I manage to borrow somebody else's phone to talk to them.
No worries… Just make a quick payment and my service will be restored eventually…

Trouble is.. I need to log in to my BANK ACCOUNT to transfer funds from one account to another, so they can just charge my debit card number.

But the bank needs a OTP code.

The OTP code gets sent to my mobile number. The mobile service of the disconnected SIM.

It was Friday evening and I couldn't speak to my bank till Monday.

Circles life refused to temporarily connect my SIM even just for a few minutes so I could retrieve an OTP code.

Such a damn hassle.. yeah my own damn fault for being a dumb ass but they were just so unhelpful like shit it wasn't like I owed them hundreds and just trying to screw them over, I was trying to pay it!

I've mostly only every used prepaid mobile services and even if there's zero credit balance they are able to receive incoming calls/texts, so long as ya recharge once a year or whatever.

Post-paid plans well in my experience.. if the bill is overdue for too long they'll suspend outgoing calls/texts/data.. slap on late fees, etc. Eventually cut it off completely if left too loong.

But to cut off completely, for bein less one month in "arrears", so that a customer cannot even receive incoming texts.. is this normal nowadaysl? I don't think I've ever known a mobile company to do this?

Mate I left them long ago. Your experience sounds unnecessarily painful.

If you're smart, just stay away from Circles.Life.

    • Hey there mate! This is definitely not the experience that we'd like you to have. We only suspend service if the current outstanding balance on the account is $150 or more and if there's also 2 months unpaid bill. We also don't charge any late fees. We would greatly appreciate if you can send us a private message through our live support channels (Facebook/Instagram/Live chat) so that we can assist you further on this. Looking forward on hearing from you soon!

Yeah na, don't think OP will ever be coming back, also way too late mate!

We only suspend service if the current outstanding balance on the account is $150 or more and if there's also 2 months unpaid bill.

Utter BS according to OPs story. Because he even contacted you guys and refused to connect OPs service for even a couple mins to get the OTP from the bank only owing $20, so can't be a system error of some sort. Plus Id rather trust someone who has had past experience with this company rather than a rep from a company with questionable practices in the past.

      • it definately was not $150 or more outstanding.
it's all good tho, this was months ago now and I'm not interested in arguing with support.

I would also like to mention it was a nightmare trying to port my number back out to another provider afterwards… it took several attempts over several weeks, it kept coming back failed even after I called Circles.Life to confirm that my details were all correct. though I don't know if this was caused by them or something the new provider was doing wrong..

        • We truly appreciate all of these feedback. For the port out process, as long as you're providing the correct info (Postpaid service and your account number) it should work fine from there. I hope I was there when you had this billing issue, maybe we could've changed the outcome of this. Still, we truly appreciate you being part of our family and you have a good one, mate! Cheers

So they cut me off, NO SERVICE FOR YEW TIL YOU PAY UP!

Hmm, doesn't that seem fair? If you don't pay your bill, you don't get to use their service?

I've always used a 40gb plan with Kogan. I never ran out.
When a Circles.life deal came around, I swapped over to their 100gb plan and for some reason, I was always reaching the limit before the end of the month.
    It was incredibly bizarre.
Glad to be out of that.

    • +1

yeah this is probably due to their minimums, for data connection, e.g. it could be 1 MB even though you only used 200 KB (0.2MB) for checking emails. The 1MB adds up!!

    • Thank you for leaving your feedback, we work really hard to make customer experience enjoyable and we're really sorry that we're not able to meet your expectations this time. Rest assured that this feedback won't go unnoticed and will be forwarded to our team. Still, thanks for trying us out! Cheers

  • My brother moved 3x phones to circles a few months ago and he has had no issues and is delighted with the plans $(22 from memory).

    • Nice to know your brother is loving us! We truly appreciate your time in writing this feedback. Thanks for the support, mate!
