  • We prefer to be addressed as professionals.

  • These products look like they cost $5 to make.

    • Actually more than that. The reason is.

I'm sorry they are looks cheap to you. but the ingredients are top quality.

Really ? I rarely write something bad but I cannot let this slip off.. You are trying to make a fast buck on the beard trend and nothing wrong with that.. you are not very good at it . 3rd time 25% off.. come on OP.. just dropshipping and charging these prices is ridiculous.. All the products are on Ali express and you are not not even paying to get your logo etched…. a "Salon grade" quality clipper with an LCD screen for 12 bucks delivered with 4 combs , a brush and charging cord which is a newer model with an lcd screen..listed on Ali express .. the straighteners can be bought for 20 bucks off Amazon..matter of fact I just bought one and they are useless.. I wouldn't even hazard a guess whats in the oils and creams ..

Case in point.. you are selling the same unit for 79 discounted or is yours Australian standards complaint so it is more expensive ?

        https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002008493705.html?spm=a2…

        • Lol was about to write the same thing, google image search on all the products (except the oil with your own label) comes up with something cheaper usually at least half price but often drastically more. Happy to support local business and understand including a margin, but something needs to be brought to the table as a value add for the premium.

No hate on any of the oils if they are your own local product though

          • @Preferred Username: Actually scratch that, the descriptions are a direct copy paste and can be found in at least a few other different websites. Is this your own in house product?

          • @Preferred Username: If someone takes advantage and lies with the first product advertised.. I'd hazard a guess and say the others are the same .Spend on a fancy shopify account, load it up with cheap Chinese stuff charged at 5 times the cost, throw in positive reviews, add some facebook adverts and watch the account grow.. those days are gone .. OP if oil and soap and balm is being manufactured locally and it is not hospitality bought in bulk and rebottled stuff, how about sending some images of the manufacturing unit with locals working ?

              @shaidas: https://www.privatelabeldynamics.com/product/beard-wash-250m…

I highlighted the first line of the paragraph on their page, hit "Search for this text" and bam!, there it was.

Of course, it's misspelled as "Bead Wash" on the website for the bargain…

              • @khadro: I have no idea what you are on about dude..knowing English is not a precursor to being honest

                • -1

@shaidas: I don't care about their spelling, that was an aside, although not being able to actually spell the name of your products is a red flag. If I refused to buy items that had misspellings I'd never buy another product on Amazon again.

You asked if it was locally and not bought in bulk. The link was to a place where they sell the exact same product, but put your branding on it. So no, they are not producing it locally, and it is bought in bulk and simply rebranded.

                  That's all.

                  • @khadro: Thats cool bro.. don't know who negged you or why..case is closed now..no need to reply back

            • @shaidas: Regarding the Product Price If We get it US$20 as you think. (USD20 convert to $AUD) + Shipping from China to AUD + Import TAx 5% + Australia Post $8 + Transaction Fees 2% + Facebook and Google Ads Spend to sell a product around $25 per sale + 10% GST.

So We make around 15% Profit selling at $79. 15% is so much cheaper than shaver's shops 40% profit margin.

you all trying to kick the small guy out of the business. Go and look at Kogan, Shaver's shop.
Very disappointed with how the community comment without knowing any expenses.

I think they/we are highlighting that your main (first product on main page) is just drop shipping from China. You may do Australian made products too, but it looks bad when the first product we see has a massive markup @ $79. Banggood has the same product for AU$26.33 (+Shipping: AU$4.39).

We're not "kicking" you down. This is a bargain site. You're drop shipping Chinese goods. Give us a bargain (preferable 100% aussie, good quality and cheap!).

If you've got one we're overlooking (because it's not on your front page), then list it in your description.

                • @rompastompa: Hi All.
WE HAVE ITEMS HERE IN SYDNEY.. NOT DROPSHIPPING.
Just imagine.. How can we do express post next day shipping if the items come from China?
Anyway. I took your advice, we will be out from the site.

WE HAVE ITEMS HERE IN SYDNEY

I didn't want to sound too negative, but use OzBargain as a marketing source if you've got a product that fits in it's target audience. You're expecting us to pay $50 more for a week or two quicker delivery and "possibly" better after sales support on a $30 item (And really, after sales support only if it breaks?). Would you buy it for $80?

You don't need to leave, just understand the demographic and use your market research to improve your target scope. I'm confident you can do better than that!

As stated above, give us a cheap, quality local product and we might surprise you! You know the old saying: cheap, quality, fast - pick two. I pick cheap and quality.

                  • @[Deactivated]: Good for you..you may not be drop shipping but you are charging us for your mistakes in buying junk upfront that you thought will sell.. not going to work unless you take a 10% profit and cover Australian law in terms of taking back units that do not work and replace with a new one ..I am happy to buy your shaver for 30 dollars delivered under those conditions

                    • @shaidas: THANKS ALL.
                      We are leaving OzBargin.

It's funny how people comment on products because they look similar. without knowing what kind of a battery inside. Do you even know, product price is different depends on the rechargeable battey type?

                      Anyway. Thanks All.. Very Spportive.

                      • @[Deactivated]: do you know what 18750 is in there and what has been promised?

                      • @[Deactivated]:

without knowing what kind of a battery inside.

I'm trying not to troll here, but are you buying it without a battery and putting in a ~$50 battery? Again, would you buy your product for +$50 over the others?

                        Also; your product states:

Fast Charge: Environmentally friendly lithium battery,1200mah Large capacity battery

                        Banggood's product states:

1200mAh lithium battery, two hours charging and 120 minutes running time

If you've got a deal here, HIGHLIGHT the difference on your website. We don't know if you've modified the product that visually and described as exactly the same as a dropshipped product, but we do know MANY companies attempt to dropship. How are we to know you're not one of them?

          1. Regarding Aliexpress - It's not the same Product
          2. Regarding Aliexpress - Please convert $20 USD to AUD,
          3. Regarding Aliexpress - We do not dropship, Products in Australia.
          4. Regarding Aliexpress - It's not the same product, Looks Different. When we order we can get a cheaper product with a cheap battery but our battery is 2hrs runtime with a single charge.
          5. Regarding the Product Price If We get it US$20 as you think.

@[Deactivated]: Kogan is a public listed company, Shavers shop has overheads and they sell Braun, Philips , you are selling a product that a consumer can get for 20 bucks @ 79 dollars .. you are not a smart person..I will wish you best of luck and advice you not to post on this forum ..some people may fall for your pitch.. no one here is going to ..even the small guy and community is overplayed and misplaced

          • @[Deactivated]: I feel bad for you so if you ever look back at this post…I did convert to AUD..actually Ali express converts, battery is a lie if I I buy through you it is a lie if you buy it is still a lie because a good battery alone would cost 10 dollars .. there is no import tax no postage no google/facebook ads and no gst if we order direct ..so in other words brother this does not work ..

I'm looking for stock photos of tough guys with beards. Do you know where I can find them?

  • Yous don't sell double edge blades?

  • Beard Apron - I saw that in your website for $19, went to amazon, found same design and even the model for $14.99

    What’s the deal?

    • They come with different materials and different quality.
Our cloth is waterproof and comes with a carry Bag.
Also, you need to go and apply the code "BEARD25" to get the discount.

  • Please Note.
We are not a DROPSHIP site. All the products are here in Sydney.
Our Beard Oil, Beard Balm and Beard Wash also purchased from an Australian Supplier.

Please consider it before you mark it as negative.

    Thanks,
    Beard Guru Team.

    • Happy to, reduce prices stop ripping off people

      • Do you know the battery quality of cheap Aliexpress ones and Our Ones?

        • I just replied to that..so your unit has the samsung 18750 or the panasonic high gain ? 3000mAh or 10000 mAh ? Looks like you have been shorted my friend.. happens to all of us

  • Lol he melted…See ya!

  • Jesus Christ… this got toxic. To be fair I don’t think that particular beard wash can be bought online cheaper anywhere else (factoring shipping).

    • I have never understood people buying beard wash or oil anyhow all they are doing is paying marked up prices because the packaging contains the word "Beard"
