I went to Ted's this afternoon. They refused to price match.

I went there to buy the LowePro Passport III sling. Despite it being labelled as $29.99 and also on their website, the cashier was asking for $49.99. Later said that he got it confused with the black version which is priced at $129. Then, when I pulled out the $10 club teds voucher, he got annoyed and said he has never seen this before.

Sums up Ted's in a nutshell. I never go there anymore.
Anything Sony related, just go to Sony and get them to price match.
Anything else just grab it from Digidirect or get Camera House to price match

Call up one of the Sony stores in NSW. Or better yet go to the Sony website and you can price match there.

I bought one last night. Been waiting for a deal on a ultra-wide lens. It was down to this and the Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 DG HSM Art Lens, but with the cashback this was cheaper. I noticed that my order status says " Awaiting Product Delivery." Hopefully, it won't take too long for stock to arrive!

There is a Sigma 14-24 DG DN cheaper on ebay if that is an option? Not sure of the diff vs DG HSM. $1,689.00 with ebay plus https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/323897650669
