  • Received this last month on two of my infrequently used PayPal accounts.

    • i missed out the last few rounds for some reason?

      • Here at PayPal, we’ve missed you. So, we’re giving you a‌ $10 AUD reward, as a warm welcome back.

        You use Paypal too often?

        • like i said in the OP, i've never used this account.

          • @tdw: But you got it this time. No luck for me. I haven't used Paypal for a long time.

  • Paying a pittance for necro accounts. They should have waived transaction fees to $50… then we're talking

    • It's $10 for free, ShopBack give $2 with a minimum $20 spend and everyone froths about it with nearly 400 votes.

  • Can I give them $10 to get away from Ebay Managed Payments back to them ?

    • No, but even with managed payments you can still do cash (or anything else) on pickup. Not the same thing obviously, but it does keep you away from managed payments.

    • Why is the managed payments bad?

  • Are you sure this is not a scam ? I received one a few weeks back and just received another one this morning. I remeber doing a Google search and it seemed to indicate that PayPal never issues vouchers in this manner.

Edit: I’m pretty certain it’s a scam, email address is [email protected]

    • i already have the $10 in my account.

      • Me too - took less than 5 minutes.

    • mail is a subdomain on paypal.com seems pretty legit to me, you would need control of paypal.com to do that. if it was paypal.something.com then I would be more concerned.

  • I got this email and was concerned it was a scam due to some of the wording e.g. "we monitor transaction 24/7" (I would expect it to say "we monitor transactions 24/7").

  • I do use PayPal from now and then. But as all website or shops I am member of. I have never been target anything. Wonder if it has something with my name….

  • Received a $5 offer instead of $10. ripp

  • It's funny how loyal customers who use a service often actually never seem to get anything.

Not whinging about Paypal in particular, but services in general seem to only love new customers or ones who don't use their account often.

I get the tactic, but surely they must realise this peeves loyal customers off? They really should simply do promos like this for everybody equal.

  • got my $10 instantly
