Greetings everyone, this beast of a monitor is now at it's cheapest price ever, a further $35 off the current eBay sale.

As it's directly sold from Dell, it will also come with a $100 dell advantage coupon to be used on another purchase in the future if desired. Also, if you have a previous advantage coupon or one from someone else, it will stack onto this.

If targeted, can also get a further $120 cashback via Amex.

Showing as 0-1 business days shipping currently, so seems to be in stock ready to go.

Update: 2:20pm 28/5/2021: The LOVEKEANU coupon is no longer working on this item. However, go here and input your email into the first field (can be a throwaway email), it will send you a coupon for 7% off and this can be applied to the purchase to get the same price :)

    • Not via eBay, you need to purchase directly from Dell to be eligible for the advantage coupon.

  • Sorry to derail the topic, I found ASUS was the first to launch the first HDMI 2.1 monitor. Anyone has this monitor or what they think as a comparison?

    ASUS ROG Strix XG43UQ

    https://www.mwave.com.au/product/asus-rog-strix-xg43uq-43-14…

    • VA panel, no comparison

      • yes, VA panel is so much better

  • Upgraded from a Aw3420. Love this monitor. Do people recommend enabling HDR?

  • Just picked one up, thanks OP!

    My wife is over it…

    • What happened to the Xiaomi?

      • +1

Already have an LG 34 so Xiaomi 34 was just an opportunity buy coz i got it real cheap for $450 or something…still…BNIB

Now I also got a garmin fenix 6 saphire…omg…lockdown is not good for me

  • This or the LG48cx….whats better long term 4-5 years?

    • the LG48cx is completely different proposition.

  • still using my Dell U3011 daily for the last 8 years. Gaming on it is awesome so unless it's going to drastically improve my experience then I will give it a pass

  • Code doesnt seem to be working anymore. I'm guessing expired.

    • Yep, same problem for me. "This is a valid coupon code, but there are no matching items currently in your cart." Still getting the 30% off, but can't get the extra LOVEKEANU discount.

    • +2

Ahh yep, I had a alternative method just in case they killed the code.

Go here and input your email into the first field (can be a throwaway email), it will send you a coupon for 7% off and this can be applied to the purchase to get the same price :)

Thanks for the suggestion doweyy, but when I enter my email address I get the following error "Oops something went wrong, please click on the FAQ."and when I click on the FAQ the page doesn't load. Is it still working for you?

        • Hmm that's a bit odd, I just tested it before I commented and it worked okay. I used an alternate Gmail I have, so maybe need to use a gmail account?

          • +1

@doweyy: Ok got it working. I was trying to use a Gmail account, but I was also logged into the Dell website in another window and I think that's what broke it. I opened a new in-private window and then it worked perfectly. Thanks for the advice mate!

          • @doweyy: Not working for me either, does it need to be linked to an existing account perhaps?

            • @Ayiruos: Hmm, maybe need to try in an incognito / private window as per Mr Fusion's comment above. Could you give this a try please and see if it makes a difference?

              • @doweyy: Unfortunately also cannot seem to get this to work. Have tried incognito / private window.

                • @Eclectix: thats strange. it still works for me. i'll give you my coupon. try this J2M9CT$LJHDD8R

                • @Eclectix: you have to use Chrome, won't work on Firefox

  • Don't forget to activate cashback, you get 5% from dell website

    • you dont need to activate anything for that. you'll get a dell advantage coupon by email which is worth 5% of the order. It can be used on future purchases from Dell

    • 0 for monitor

  • Does anybody kindly have a coupon i could use. I have been dying for this monitor for a very long time but can not afford it. my budget is 1100

    • just get samsung g7, its better

      • that was actually my first 2nd perference…. Have you got one ? is it worth the money ?

        • sure is, look at it this way - if you game the g7 Va panel is miles better then IPS - no IPS glow, better blacks , and due to less glow image is sharper

and the kicker for me is that hardware needed to run 120 fps 4k monitor like this doesn't exist whereas with g7 its 1440 p and if you have 3080 or 6800 xt you can run most games at 140 fps and older ones at 240 which is great if you are into competitive games

once you go to 240 fps with no input lag you cant go back

          • @botchie: yea cheers for the info, looks like the g7 it is

            • @Loay24: Definitely wouldn't go for the 32inch though, same sharpness as a 24 inch 1080P monitor, not something you'd want to pay $1100 for

  • not even 12 months old and almost 50% off….hmmmmm

  • It comes to $1,568.67 with a 7% off coupon. Where are you getting $1464.10?

    • price seems to have gone up. :( it was $1574.30 without applying any coupons.

  • It’s cheaper now to buy from Dell eBay store.

  • i always find it funny how monitor manufacturers market "1ms pixel response time"

when in reality it averages around 7-10ms.

  • I missed out on this before the price increase. Does anyone have a cashback coupon from this purchase to share? Have had no luck on the dell discount code megathread.

  • Just received my aw3821dw, the box is massive!

    • still waiting on my shipping confirmation from the ebay deal last week zz

      • i cancelled the ebay one and ordered through dell direct. got it yesterday :')

        • was thinking the same when this one popped up after but cc limit was maxed lol

      • Apparently they had over 6000 eBay orders so it's a bit slow. I guess I was lucky.

  • thoughts on buying the AW3821DW from the outlet?

I think there was only one left as I've reserved it for $1309 and now the listing is gone.

  • anyone have a spare student discount code they can share please?

    • I have .edu email and perhaps can get one. Can you PM me where to get the code form and I'll send back a PM with the code.
