  • Does this stack with referral credit?

  • Are their ping comparable to superloop?

No, these guys are garbage for routing, throughput and latency. Avoid.

      • 101% correct

    • Ping and routing sucks.

  • So it's advertised as 1000/50 but typical evening speed is 350…?

    • All ISPs have to show a typical evening speed when choosing a plan. The fine print says 350Mbps was the MR average in internal testing 7-11pm March 2021. You are not capped at 350Mbps between 7-11pm and the speed can go faster.

I am getting anywhere btw 750 to 850. However, when I was on ABB, the speed was more consistent and always close to 920Mbps.

    They have worst support ever

Worst ISP I've ever had the displeasure to use. Avoid, avoid, avoid. They keep billing even after you cancel and average wait time was over an hour to contact. If you have any issues good luck. It's not worth the meagre savings for your sanity.

    Never again

This is one of the worst ISP's you can go with. If you don't want to bang your head against the wall in frustration do yourself a favour, pay a little more and go with Superloop or Aussie Broadband.

ABSOLUTELY AVOID AT ALL COST. Nightmare to deal with. Had multiple dropouts, getting through support was a headache. Cancelled service and continued to send me monthly bills for over 2 years. Even trying to cancel the service was a pain. Again…do not go through the pain of joining them.

  • Been with MyRepublic for past 4 years. Seems rather hit or miss with the amount of complaints I see, but personally I haven't experienced anything abnormally terrible. I usually use their discord server for any support needs - the guys on there are absolute legends.

  • Worst ISP ever…

  • A couple of days ago, there was a deal from telstra. 250/25 for $99/month for 6 months. Search it up.

    • I'd rate Telstra lower than MyRepublic…

  • Worse than TPG ?

  • Does anyone have any solutions or recommendations if NBN is not available in your area? For some reason the house I'm moving into in Northcote doesn't have NBN available.

  • +1

Had a lot of connection issues and the customer service is trash. Do not touch!

  • Avoid it. Totally no support at all. Once your NBN down, good luck to waste time with their hopeless online chat……

  • I know everyone hates MR, but they have one month free right now for all speeds, including gigabit.
