Missed it.. Would have been perfect phone for dad to replace his Huawei..

Started a review thread after grabbing one at $599 in March.

Super impressed overall, can confirm connection drops for Android auto and Bluetooth and a need to manually enter Access Point details for mobile data but other than that, good phone and at this price is a steal.

Though my local store had two units when I bought in March and one last week so I'd say they are clearing their stock perhaps.

    • what do you mean by connection drop for android auto and bluetooth?
it drops when you listen to music? drops android auto when you are driving. that is horrible.

      • So far the pattern I can establish is that it disconnects on both bluetooth and android auto in the first 20 minutes or so of a connection. It only seems to do it once, then it remains connected and will work without issue. But yeah, bluetooth headphones, bluetooth car or bluetooth speaker all disconnect once and then reconnect fine, as does Android auto once then reconnects and works fine.

Did just get a UI update this morning, and so far it has not actually done the disconnect on Android auto……honestly as its predictable I don't really mind

        • Sounds not too bad for this price. I would take it. But wife only cares the camera, her current is p30 pro. maybe I will wait for last year's flagship go half rice.

    • Dang too late. I went with the white.

Was considering ordering a second and returning the white but having read up a bit the white might be better (matte finish vs glossy). Will chuck on a case anyways but glossy = fingerprint and dust magnets in my experience.

      • Same here. Thanks for the info about matte finish.

Oddly, Amazon just price-matched with its 128gb white.

had the blue and have since got the white. Mine lives in a case but I think the white does look a bit nicer.
