Just received this email from Shopback
Vodafone Prepaid Plus Starter Packs:
$40 for $15 + $14 Cashback
$50 for $19 + $18 Cashback
Not worth it due to the T&C about having to remain connected for at least 2 months. Long waittime for cashback. Likely get rejected. So no deal.
Go with Amaysim via Cashrewards, much better and always pay (at least for me).
I've never had a DM from you regarding any missing cashback?
If there's an issue, please don't hesitate to reach out to me so I can get it sorted :)
It’s about the T&C of Vodafone CB.
Understandable - it might be a bit excessive.
Unfortunately, it's not something we directly control as our merchants will tell us their T&Cs, pending cashback/commission period, etc.
We'll simply pass that info on to our customers.
The reason I was more focused on the missing cashback is that it's something we have more control over.
I'll get our team to reach out to the network/merchant contact regarding missing cashback/commission and request it be paid out.
Just tryna do my bit and help where I can.
Voda T&C for CB could be better. My experience with SB Rep on CB top up for a recent Amaysim purchase was wonderful.
Same here, Vodafone cashback from SB is a joke.
Same here. Two of two times (June 2018 and June 2021), Vofadone denied my SB rebate. SB says 'Please allow us some time for this to happen, this process can take up to 45 days depending on how fast we hear back from Vodafone Mobile.'
Still waiting for mine, but my mate said his got rejected, so got no hope. Still giving this a plus if it works since it is still a good deal, considering you get $5 bonus as well. Assuming all of this works, of course.
@Xantar: Wonder why your mate CB got rejected?
@F1ngolf: Cause vodafone rejects his cashback
can you buy this starter pack and switch to long expiry pay as you go?
Can I buy this sim and activate pay as you go plan instead of prepaid plus plans?
For $50 sim, I can get a valid number for 365 days even if it’s not eligible for cashback.
By the way. You get bonus $5 cashback if spend at vodafone so it does make this deal worth it. $4 profit!
if you keep number and account open after the 30 days and don't renew plan shouldn't number remain activate for up to 6 months and you should qualify for the cash back? will this stack with the $5 vodafone shopback bonus i activated in the app?
It should but I have not tested. Still waiting for cashback from previous purchase. Taking a while
Maybe if you use it as data only or a spare number. But many people want to port their primary number to this though.
Why would you ever port your primary number to this plan? $50 for 60GB is a rip off even if you get 100% cashback first month (assuming you actually get approved). You must remained connected for at least 2 months.
I'm trying to point out that this deal is only good for use as data/spare number without recharging for the 2nd month.
Great idea, doing this would the 50/60gb roll over and be able to use for the 6 Month period or would it expire after first month? Or anybody know any alternatives to long expiry data deals
how long do you have to activate sim pack from date of order? is it 30 days or do you need to activate it before end of june 30th to get these promo data inclusions?
cut out the middle man and sell them for a dollar! everyone saves.
Like Kogan? 1cent. Damn.
Just got an email for ANZ rewards holder, $10 egift card for paying bill. Unsure if this can be stacked.
Been dying too try Vodafone in my area but a bit worrying if the cash back falls through
mine never tracked only in click history . do you have to activate it within 30 days and before you put in a missing claim?
