  • Very tempting, review looks good. I have no experience with the seller, are they reliable?

    • No idea. I would pay via PayPal which they offer. Offers protection that way. Delivery kills it for me to vic, $115, makes it $2,300. Im very tempted but for VIC I am trying to get it down closer to 2k.

With the Samsung bracket you can get it 7mm off the wall, and its super thin. I have a smaller RU7100 which this is similar too, and its pretty amazing for the price.

I am in Vic too. Even with the delivery fee, it is still attractive as the other retailers are a couple of hundreds more expensive unless they price match.

I am not in the market for a TV but the price and size is really tempting.

I was looking at the 82 inch version (TU8000) but its a lot thicker, and stock was super limited. This is a much better buy. Its the cheapest I have found it. Was hoping Powerland would do a sale on eBay but stock is also limited. Appliances online will match, has to be ordered. Stock arriving early July.

          • @MAB: Do you know if those OLED or QLED is vastly superior?

            • @leznix: OLED would certainly be and chances are most QLED would be better although there's more variance with QLEDs. But an OLED this size would be like $9-10k so it's not really a comparison.

            • @leznix: OLED 100%, but a 77 inch was on here for 6k on special! QLED some are better, some run IPS panels from what I have read. TBH depends what you watch. For Netflix, YouTube and most viewing this TV is awesome. For movie lovers watching sci fi with 5k ATMOS speaker packs - they will say its no good. Horses for courses. Perfect TV for most people. Worth checking out at JB but I can't fault it, especially for the price. Pair with a media box like the shield pro and its amazing for the price.

@MAB: Thanks. Like you said, the price just amazing.

Going to drop by JB and have a look and see if they price match which I doubt so though.
I have Costco round the corner and see if they have this model too

  • 43kgs!

    • comes in pretty standard for the 85 inch TVs. Unless you get an OLED

    • well imagine if it was Plasma TV…

      • i think my 42inch plasma weighed this much ..lol

That website looks so retro… i think they're using a free wordpress template?

    • You think thats retro - you should buy some Pit Viper sunglasses. Check that out!

  • They Don't answer their phone and the website looks like its from the early 2000s hmm..

    • yeah, they do have PayPal tho. Appliances online will match. Spoke to them via chat.

out of stock then price now changed to $2858 plus delivery

  • Just a heads up HDR on this is very average.
313 nits of max brightness doesn't do it any favours, let alone no local dimming.

This is a budget panel. Albeit a very large one.

    • any idea how that compares to RU7100 series?

They had jumanji 2 playing in jbhifi and the fast motion looked terrible. So many artifacts and ghosting around hair etc. I was hoping it was just the content being displayed but I'd say it was a blu ray so didn't fill me with confidence.

  • Can this be obtained?
