It's just unfortunate that WWI costs double RACV…

    • yeah, it was double coles car insurance as well. It's like they don't want new customers!

  • Compare with Budget Direct - they came out much cheaper for me on Compare the Market

Anyone getting an error after filling up the first page?

    • Yes I have been trying online and getting error and when I try to call they just never pick up the call (busy with other customers)

      • I changed my browser from edge to chrome and it worked. try that.

        • Ok sure, thanks 👍

WW Ins beats the pants off the rest for my car and I've been getting the $100 GC for the last three years. This deal is just as good.

    • I got two x $100 GC for the past few years cause their system screwed up lol. One physical, one virtual.

No luck this year - as the new quote price is almost exactly $100 more (slightly more than $100) than the renewal notice price.

WWI PDS is actually pretty good for what you pay. Been with them for a few years. Never claimed though.
Cancel every year and get the 20k points again.

  • How long does the policy have to be kept?

Thanks mate - you just made me earn $100 (post tax too) !

LOL. WW quoted $800 on top than my renewal premium @racv. And I thought RACV was expensive. WW Price beat wasn't able to match or beat it. Tried other insurance quotes WW was giving the most expensive offer. No deal!

  • Damn! Budget Direct still comes out on top even with the $100 worth of reward points.

WWI became crazily expensive in past 2 years, has since changed to AAMI.
WWI quoted $1101 while AAMI quoted $576 for my car with most things like excess set to same or similar
AAMI added free roadside assist for first year for new customers as well.
    Bye bye WWI

    • This is exactly what is happening to me too. Without circumstance change no claim at all they increased my 3rd year renewal from $791 to $931. I tried to talk to their customer service rep after long waiting a woman on their online chatting was very rude and tried to fool me by saying the increase was related to discount dropped since last year signed up online - this is b…sh…t as this was the 3rd year inline that I've been with them NOT the first renewal. I had checked with AAMI, they are $800 with same excess - if i'd like to lift the excess even cheaper. So with WWI my premium has gone through $710 (+20000 points) -> $791 -> $931. They even increased my 2017' car's "agreed" value silently…
      Byr bye WWI for good.
