  • I have a pair of HD 25-1 and they're quite good. They're plugged in to my Cowon D2+ and I'm personally very happy with them. They offer excellent isolation and are comfortable to wear for about 2 hours at a time (afterwards they need readjusting).

Not sure I like the adidas branding, but the colours are cool!

  • Got mine for 200 about a year back from chemical records.
    Absolute pain when gaming!
    Good for commuting.

    • What do you mean "Absolute pain when gaming!"?

      • +1

Maybe too much clamping for long session gaming.

        • That's the word! Clamping. They're great in winter, but, probably only for an hour long commute.

    • yeah, i bought my HD-25's from chemical records. years ago when i bought them, they were the cheapest by far.

definitely buy higher-end headphones and earphones from overseas…they're pretty much always much cheaper.

  • Why is this model commands a higher price to Sennheiser HD25-1 II Closed-Back Headphones?

    • As far as I know, only the color.

  • Thank, bought one as I rather like the look and was eying at this headphone at amazon for the past few months.

  • +1

These are excellent headphones and I'd highly recommend them!
That said, they can be had for $240 from Harvey Norman with some bargaining :)

  • Was recommending to a friend but now gone up to $499 :(

  • Received mine today and initial listening test with my walkman was a bit underwhelmed but when I have arrived home and plugged it into my Xonar STX and set to the correct ohm it was remarkable and now understand all the raved about this headphone. It is a wonderful can with very good bass reproduction and great separation of frequencies. Unfortunately most portable device could not reproduced this detail as it is underpower. It will go well with a portable amplifier.
