Hard to recommend when you can get the MX Master 2 for only a few dollars more

That looks like the original MX Master so not a great price. Also, you could just copy Amazon's description…

  • Not even MX Master 2?

Bought one MX Master 3 $84 from this deal.

  • Been holding out for a MX 3 deal on Prime :/ but wouldn’t bite a light grey one even at that price.

Wow, I can't believe they still sell this. I bought it 5-6 years ago for 80 something dollars, I still use it occasionally to this day (with my laptop) but I still cant get over how annoying the back and forward button placement is

    • I use my gen 1 everyday (got it from DickSmith close outs) and love the back forward placement.

  • I'm using my original first gen MX Master.
Only had to do 1 repair on it (the thumb rest side was a bit wonky).
Still going strong and I am still pretty happy with it.
Probably good if you are on a budget, otherwise save your pennies towards a new bling model.

I still have my original Master at the office, had to do the same fix as you.

I got a new Master 3 for home and it's great but still, nothing really wrong (or unfixable) with the original for me even though there were many that had problems.

I've tried the MX Master and MX Master 3. I couldn't get over how cheap the scroll wheel on the original MX Master felt and ended up returning it. The ratchet mechanism makes an obnoxious sound and it doesn't feel how a scroll wheel should. It wiggles around when you scroll, unlike the MX Master 3.

      Freewheel 24x7 or nothing.

  • I have, I think, this exact mouse at home, bought brand new from Officeworks, and never used. If anyone wants it, let me know. Would be happy to take $40+ postage for it.

  • Still rocking a couple Master2 that I got from a similar UK sale (home and work).

I usually just get a new 'shell' from Aliexpress for $20 when they get too worn which makes them like new again.

  • Great mouse! I really like the thumb scroll on Excel! However, it was way cheap last October on Amazon UK deal. I bought one for $48.
