    Thanks, got the last one.

    Thanks for posting.

I am using Intel but thinking to get this just because….

    • +4

Well you sound like a true OzB.

    • 😂🤣

  • Is this better than my MSI B450 Mortar Max??

    • You will probably see no difference between the 2. You should not upgrade from a B450 board.

      • Why?

        • +2

The only reasons to upgrade from b450 to x570 are

          • you want gen 4 storage
          • you need more pcie lanes

Unlikely to be the case for most people

          • +1

            @ln28909: It’s more future proof.
            Mortar max doesnt have wifi.
For $100 for wifi 6, better USB, better cooling, 8 hard drives, with potential to upgrade to PCIe Gen4 SSD and GPU, it’s good value.

            • +2

@congo: Not everyone needed wifi, if they needed wifi, they would have bought a wifi motherboard
Better USB: not really important for most people
Better cooling: questionable, very budget board, x570 chipset is very hot
Gen 4 Upgrade: gen 4 ssd and gpu are very expensive, people that buy them don't care too much about price

              • @ln28909: What about when you want to upgrade your GPU in 2-3 years and PCIE Gen 3.0 bottlenecks it?

                  • +1

@ln28909: You obviously didn't read what I wrote, if an RTX 2080Ti fully saturates a PCIE 3.0x8 connection as it does now, then something twice as fast will fully saturate pcie 3.0. currently there's very little difference, but in a generation or two when that's possible you'll have a bottleneck

                    • +2

@cille745: You ask 2-3 years time, if you're looking at this motherboard in 2-3 years time, you won't be getting anything more than a 3090

And 3090 has a few % difference as per nvidia

You do understand 3.0x16 has twice the bandwidth as 3.0x8?

            • @congo: PCIe gen 5 will be coming in 3-4 months for consumers and gen6 by 2023 by conservative estimates, upgrading to g4 now is pointless when differences even with 300x series gpus are within margin of error.

              • @JerraJones: Thanks. I’m doing a new 5900X build. At this price it’s hard not to choose it over B450+wifi

    • Depends what you are after, the norse max has better VRMs but less features

  • This is an AMD mobo isn't it?

    • Yes

  • Hope my order goes through. Thx a lot
    Bought for no reason

    • +5

Good on you. You have been promoted to Lance Corporal for your OzBargain spirit

      • +2

Haha it's not really no reason. I want that extra M.2 slot and my internal USB 3.1 port on my current board is broken so I can't use the front case headers. Although that's just an excuse I told myself to buy this since there are cheaper fixes to that…

  • gone damn

  • Wtffffffff

  • Nooooooo

    Good find!

As someone who's been using this board for a couple years, it's a piece of shit.

    • Please… Show me a better board for $99

      • +1

You just missed out the 50% deal from shoppingXpress.

Besides, It's too good to be true to me and ASRock I owned was only last for 2 years lifetime, but at this price, yeah, why not keep it then re-sell it.

        • +1

          i agree with this

bought an asrock once and it had some faulty issue

          don't trust asrock quality control.

      • Never mind ignore me I was thinking of the Intel version of this board. The AMD one is probably fine for most people.

  • +1
    • 1 x SPI TPM Header*******

At the moment you will need to buy a separate TPM for when Windows 11 comes out….

    • what the hell?
      these should be built in

      • Look up the specs and read….

        • yes i just mean with modern motherboards we should not have to buy a separate tpm module.

            • @AndyC1: yeah

tpm and secure boot requirement is gonna cut off a lot of people from upgrading (their main pc, or one of their other pc or laptops)
and push people to buy new pcs with new window license (which benefits MS).

I see now MS true motive for making Windows 11..

Windows 11 looks like turning into another dud in Windows good/bad cycle..

Also killing off windows 10 support in 2025 means many of those people will be
              without secure PC etc..

              Nice job MS,
they are gonna reduce their market share even further with this force requirement.

  • Insane deal
    No wonder already oos

  • Tired of upgrading just ahead of major hardware ug.

    Waiting.

  • +1

    $99 X570 was a dream… damn those prices

    • search ebay sometimes you will see plenty of X570 at this price :)

  • Predatory capitalism = sell everything to miners and F the world. Nice.

  • OOS

  • So sad that I missed this 😢
Was looking at the $467.22 for 5600x and MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk on eBay before this but it's OOS

  • Need itx x570 deal so badly

  • FYI I received this board from the deal (Thanks Wireless1!)

It worked great out of the box with Ubuntu 20.04, but for Windows 10, I had to update to the newest bios (v4.x) as the stock one (v3.x) didn't load my Windows 10 partition.

After the bios update, it registered OK and I was able to login to the home screen and connect the Wifi again :D
