Sequre SQ-D60B Soldering Iron with B2 Tip for $27 + Delivery ($0 NSW C&C/ $150 Order) @ Phaser FPV

30

The Sequre SQ-D60B is a budget version of the popular premium TS100 made by an alternate company. It is equipped with an SQ-001 soldering iron head and uses TYPE-C power supply. One of the great things about this budget iron is that it can use all the same tips as its premium TS100 brother and uses USB-C to be powered.

SQ-D60B has an automatic sleep shutdown, induction wake-up, and is simple and easy to use. The temperature rises quickly and is adjustable between 100-400 degrees.

NOTE: The USB C interface on these irons is not QC2/QC3 compliant and as such you will struggle to get this to work with good power banks. The power bank we sell for the TS80P WILL NOT work with this iron.

You will 99% have to use the USB-C to DC jack and power it via XT60 from a 12-24v power supply or 4-6S LIPO

  • Got one of these a while back, pretty good temperature control but never worked with any power bank like the post says

Does it work with any USB PD standards?

If not, it is just a waste of money having a USB C port.

    • Read the description: it won't work with 99% of the PD powerbank

Sounds like a massive pain to get a power supply that works for it so what's the point?

  • 12-24v supply, could build a portable soldering station using a 18v power tool battery?

    • some people use laptop chargers ….

  • Got mine from bangood for about $25. Couldn't get it working till I tried it with laptop power supply. Good iron just doesn't work with USB c.

  • This is currently $35 shipped from Banggood.

      fixed, price updated

      • Ordered. But there was no $6.59 shipping option so ended up a little more than the price in the title.

  • Is there a LCD display on this one or not? Description mentions LCD display but the picture is a bit misleading as the packaging and is showing the LCD while the iron is showing 3 dot LEDs?

    • This is the b version so it should have the LCD screen and be adjustable between 100-400 deg C. The a version had the dots and only 3 temps to choose from.

  • What is the current draw at 12v please?

    • +1

It draws 17w at 12v so just under 1.5A at 12v.

  • Realise the deal is over, but anyone know how this compares to the TS100, SQ001 or Pinecil?

Tossing up which one of these to get…
