Original Coupon Deal
Thanks to the original deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/630376
Gearbite eBay has dropped its price $439.95. Further discounts as per the coupons. This is the best price that I could find with Australian warranty and Australian certification. Gearbite had the price at $499.95 throughout the eBay deal. Looks like this is a recent drop. Lucky I didn't buy earlier.
Building new house. So, builder wouldn't install unless the product is certified for installation as per the Australian standards.
Anyone not needing certification, you have an option to buy cheaper here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/633566

Just be careful OP… In the same boat as you.. the Xiaomi ones have a high rate of failure. I got a Kogan one based on OZB feedback and it has been trouble free so far

    • Probably too late for me. Although, did you say that you were not going to promote Kogan here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/625909

Yeah guilty as charged mate. Hate the buggers..zero customer service..no I am not promoting the product..just making you aware of the deficiency with the Xiaomi one.. I shall never again buy anything Kogan and I stand by that but having said that the Kogan one may be a better buy..at least it is an Aussie company if things go awry..not like that helps much with Kogan in my experience but others have differed in the past

        • I am now reading your replies on that post. Probably should have researched more and gone with Panasonic as you suggested.

          • @spal: Yeah IMHO thats the best buy for bidets ..expensive with Japanese labels but will last trouble free and cheaper than Toto ..But have to give credit where it is due.. my Kogan unit has been trouble free so far ..not sure how long that will last

          • @spal: Which Panasonic? Or you got a list of stuff you’re looking at? /curious..

            • @tommypickles: No, I wasn't looking for Panasonic. I was responding to @shaidas on their comments on another post. In hindsight Panasonic would have been a better option.

    • You're referring tot the Smart MI. The sprout is much more resilient.

      • Thats good to know..I am a big Xiaomi fan ..I am assuming you speak from personal experience..Anyone else bought the sprout unit and been using it for a while ? I meant spout

  • Does this unit incorporate the latest in bum-gun technology?

  • oh no i missed this deal
