          • @thangcuoi: I let mine go with the "now we have some important…" for a few hours and eventually it finished the setup.

            • @okc0mputer: Same issue here, windows installation finally completed after a couple of hours of waiting around and a restart.

@thangcuoi: ram from here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/544866. I forced shutdown couple times and skip the network setup to enter the system, it was painful

Just received DHL Express tracking details for my one. ETA by 11th.

  • Got it right now! (StarTrack courier)

  • I received mine, a great deal according to hardware unboxed based on rtx3050 video as they said good value in $900 USD laptop. we paid $899AU

  • My G15 original SSD Samsung PM991a 256GB is rather slow: R/W 1100/1200MBs.

Initially I replaced it with Seagate BarraCuda 510 500GB but there was a strange problem when restarting Windows - "Checking Media" pre-boot message and "no HDD" system failure. OK if started from power off. Anyone can explain it? The BarraCuda's NVMe firmware is up-to-date.

Finally, I replaced it with Corsair MP600 500GB and everything is OK.
