You forgot to mention it's a TWO PACK!
So that's ~$16 each, which is quite reasonable.

Got so many of these at home. Going to costco is dangerous.

sure, just like going to casino but you going out with food while casino only leaves you frustrated and sad 😅

  • What's the output on the USB ports?

375 joules surge protection is that ok?

Not really, it's pretty pathetic but then this isn't a particularly high-quality powerboard and the other metrics you need to consider are response time (how fast the surge protector reacts to transient current spikes) and clamping voltage (basically the threshold at which the surge protector will trip; this can't be too low or too high otherwise the surge protector is effectively worthless). Otherwise, virtually all of them use MOVs (Metal Oxide Varistors) and are made in the same Chinese factories. Good luck finding out what those specs are for this model though, as even Huntkey's official website doesn't list them on the product page.

Thor Powerboards are easily the best surge-protected power boards you can get in Australia. They are quite pricey (though they have been on sale in the past for very cheap prices relative to their specs) but they do the feature the highest joule ratings of any surge-protected powerboards on the market (7,222 joules on their highest-rated powerboard), excellent response times and clamping of voltages of between 275 - 300 VAC, which are ideal. I bought two B8+ models myself during that deal I linked.

        ^ knows powerboards

For those who like to know the cable's length, it's 2m.

  • Wish it had individual switches for each socket.

  • Is it worth vetting Costco membership just for these?

    • You're gonna buy a whole year membership ($60) just to get powerboards?

Quick googling shows you can get these $25 each.

I'm sure you can do the maths.

  • Online price is $39.98 delivered.

$8 postage is a reasonable sacrifice to spare you the hassle, time and fuel - assuming you don’t live within walking distance to a store. Plus, you won’t risk walking out with another $100 of groceries just because you figured you might as well..

  • It's showing me $39.98 ($49.98-$10 discount) for twin pack.. Anyone having same Price? Im checking online portal

    • This price is in store.

  • Price is fair. However, this one only has a joule rating of 375. You mind want to use a better one for PS5 or your PC.
