  • Is this cheaper than the previous klarna deal?

    • +1

Klarna was $149.25 after waiver but some don't like using BNPL. This is a good price without using BNPL.

      • Yeah I'm one of those people.

      • Yeah but it sold out really fast. I wouldn’t have gotten one at that price, but it went up a lot.

        • i bought it and cancelled after reading about all the credit checks that klarna does, apparently they do 4 a year even if you dont buy anything

  • For those thinking about getting the Nvidia shield, heads up about ads

The ads started up about a week or 2 ago on my unit. It's a static image above the apps, doesn't change how you access them. It's a bit odd but not experience breaking.

    • Looks like grounds for a class action lawsuit to me.

  • Hrmmm… can this fit the ROG Strix enclosure?

    • It will fit if you take off the heatsink.

      • Cools thanks. Nothing bad happens when the heat sink comes off?

        • Nah just undo the screws and slowly lift off the heatsink.

There is this Kingston NV1 1TB 2100MB/s PCIe Gen 3 NVMe M.2 (2280) SSD deal to save you the hassle. It is Gen 3 and not Gen 4 like the Gigabyte SSD is.

@Twix: Yeah thanks for that… gonna switch my SSD around from my laptop so need to clone it first, hence why I was asking. Because it is going into the laptop with the heat sinks as well.

  • would it work in pcie3 slot? I was about to get WD sn550 but might get this since the price is good

    • Yes
