Did anyone forget Valentines Day? Or just too cheap to pay the super inflated prices on valentines?

    The prices of flowers/restaurants on and before Valentines day is ridiculous.
    Let's spread the word and boycott Vday next year.

    Hmm… I'm one of those lucky ones who got away with murder… celebrating with a takeaway and drinks :P

    Vday is overrated. I find that giving stuff spontaneously throughout the year gets more 'envy' looks from her colleagues. lol.

      From someone who dines out often, it's hard to top without going to a fine dining (rip off) restaurant.
      With all the nights out and gestures we do for our ladies… Vday should be a day the girl does something for the guy.

      It is heavily overrated.. but all that envy throughout the year is void on valentines if she doesn't walk out the office with the biggest bunch of roses on Vday.

      It's funny how people in the city yesterday seemed to just parade their flowers rather than go home like they normally do.

        wasn't even in the city. lol. i get it that girls sometimes like to show off.. but you know… it's just silly.

        oh well, first world problems i suppose.

        btw, you would like to be in japan, because there is a 'white day', which is 1 month after vday, where the girls will reciprocate.

      My guess is not many people bought roses from www.rosesonly.com.au the other day so they
      have a truck load to get rid at the special price. Times are tough I guess.
