    I'm in the market for a 5900x + 3080 build…shame this doesn't have upgrades possible.

Negging due to non-existent customer service similar to https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/639672

Ordered SSD with no response about pick up date for 5 business days. Attempted to contact them via email, chat and phone (HQ and store) 10+ times over 3 more business days with 0 response. It is about a year now and still no response at all.

Wouldn't trust them with $3000. Buy with caution.

the real question is why did you wait that long

we now live in a very customer friendly world, if you don't get what you paid for, you get your money back. The process is also very easy, takes about a few minutes of your time on paypal

      • +1

Explain the 3min PayPal experience pls.

Same experience with a new GPU 18mths ago in TAS - basically the companies comprehension of the basics of the consumer law - I mean REAL basics - are literally lost in translation . Its one of those companies that skates very close to "technical" illegality and were hypocritcally one of the few tech firms in au to raise prices quickly and thru the roof for chip shortage . Btw bartering is common practice culturally so give it a try you might be surprised . If they say that ssd is 110 just say okay I'll pay 85 - bartering is Always worth a try

      • +1

Have you ever successfully bartered at MSY? Sure MSY have predominantly Asian staff but I don't think they have a "culture of bartering". The prices are reasonable to begin with, there isn't much margin for bargaining.

  • Hey i was wondering if i bought this build, would i be able to select additional storage and SSD to be including into the system?

  • Already sold out? Any other deals comingn next week @MSY?

  • btw this is a bad motherboard its the small one with only one PCIe
cant use my wifi with this…whats everyones plan to use wifi with this??? ant usb ones cheap and bad.?
Called them and they wont upgrade or change motherboard. im not sure if I should cancel or not

    • Do you know the model number? :)

      • was not told of course. im guessing its one of the ones for sale for $110 on their website.
explains why they wont tell anyone the details.

        • I grabbed a build, worse case I'll upgrade the MOBO.

I'm fortunate that I have ethernet access where my PC lives, are their any other detractors you have found?

          • @mthwstwrt: im being told it only has one PCIe and wont fit a wifi in there but now being told somewhere else it will fit, so Ill just wait and see.

  • am being told motherboard is Gigabyte B550M S2H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard and the cooler im pretty sure is stock, anyone have plans to upgrade the cooler and what to?

    • Not too bad, I'll probably leave the MOBO & cooler as I have no plans to OC & don't need in-built WiFi

      Has yours dispatched yet?

      • Nope.

      • mine has been dispatched on Fri 30 Jul, 8.36pm

        • Mine as well!! Was just about to come back here to update you 😁

Can't wait, have any upgrades planned?

I'm currently looking at m.2 SSDs & an extra 2TB SSD.

          • @mthwstwrt: i got Gigabyte AORUS Gen4 7000s 1TB 7000MB/s PCIe Gen 4 NVMe M.2 (2280) SSD for 260
and 32gb ram thinking about getting a cpu cooler idk

            • @Rukiata: Think I may do the same with the SSD!

              Have a link?

You using it as a boot drive or strictly games?

CPU should run cool IMO, they're pretty good nowadays

                • @Rukiata: I hope the m.2 drives fit with the heatsink in tact!

Mines due to arrive today & I'm going to pickup the AORUS m.2 with the copper heat shield

                  • @mthwstwrt: mine was delayed..looks like they recalled it and resent it or its tracking little worried now. let me know how the cables are and the pc and the packaging

  • Mine arrived today, motherboard is the S2H Micro as stated above, very good packing to prevent GPU moving in transit, two loose screws in my case, found one have to find the other before I turn it on. SSD is the SATA model, cable management not great but not terrible.

Overall happy, after booting to check all parts are working will be transplanting to Lian Li case and a higher end motherboard with more RAM slots and Wifi built in.
