90 Hz display on a laptop? Now that's something you don't see every day.

  • Great laptop
But I wonder if it’s good idea to get an Intel based laptop nowdays.

AMD 5600u would have been perfect.

Having the intel chip and not compensating that with thunderbolt seems like a dealbreaker to me.

  • Option for touchscreen on this?

    • +2

Sadly doesn't look like it, I would've got one if it had touch!

      • Yupe, touch screen helps a lot to kids education during lock down

  • soldered RAM kills it for me. Made the mistake 2 years ago

    Never again.

    • I'm seeing a trend with Lenovo on this soldered RAM business: most of their consumer laptops (except the Legion gaming ones I think) are on soldered RAM completely or only allowing you to upgrade 1 stick meaning if you want to go higher than 8GB, you lose dual channel support as you are essentially putting in mismatched RAM causing an odd combo (12GB or 20GB) while their enteprise/business laptops are still using SODIMMS but with only one slot installed for the cheaper models.

  • never seen 90hz on laptop before

  • Thanks for posting, been looking for a good deal on this laptop.

Anyone have a passcode for the Lenovo Education store they could possibly share? Thanks
