just ordered a washing machine yesterday :(
will concierge price match the 15% off ? Or any chance to cancel and re-order again ?
    Advise pls

    • +1

i can see price already jacked.

      • +4

        jack lives here.

    • +1

Damn! We just got our dishwasher.. which will be cheaper tonight. But can’t claim concierge, coz of their smart **

“ The Concierge 30 day price guarantee claims are not available for advertising errors or misprints, negotiated prices, promo code and finance offers, or cash backs including where offered directly by a supplier or a third party. Concierge 30 day price guarantee claims are not available for percentage off and other sales events offered by The Good Guys and The Good Guys Concierge, bonus offers, limited or minimum quantity offers, clearance and items sold on marketplace websites such as eBay and Amazon or any brand it sells on behalf of a third party supplier under an agency agreement.”

      • +16

They should just have stopped that paragraph after "not available".

"The Concierge 30 day price guarantee claims are not available" - seems more fitting.

    • Check with concierge, they usually don't honour coupons but since it's on their own website they might.

If your order has not been shipped, you can ask them to cancel, this will motivate them to just credit you the difference instead of you cancelling and placing a new order.

  • Looking for a washing machine, missed that 20%off deal good guys increased price for Bosch washing machine.

    • +1

Just bought an Asko washer and dryer package from Winning Appliances and got $800 off on a promo deal

      • could you provide me a link for it. TA

        • +3

https://www.winningappliances.com.au/p/asko-8kg8kg-laundry-p… - we got this package, but there are also packages for the other 8kg model and 10kg models. JB couldn't match the extra $200 off that Winning Appliances have, so that covered 1/2 extending the warranty on both to 5 years

          https://www.winningappliances.com.au/c/laundry/laundry-packa…

When I did the research, Asko seemed to win out - a lot of our friends have their laundry appliances, and it seems pretty solid - we have their cooktop and dishwasher, which are also winners

          • +7

@unrealshots: Good luck. Asko was Swedish, now Chinese (Hisense) since 2018. . Don't expect the same quality..

(Although they may have already jumped the shark in 2013 when Hisense didn't own them but they started being made in Slovenia instead of Sweden).

I had a TGG employee try pretend they were a premium brand.. riiiiight… that's no longer proven.

            • +1

@justtoreply: not much different to Bosch that isn't made in Germany really

              • +8

@unrealshots: Bosch, unlike Asko makes their high(er) end appliances in their country of origin: Germany. I have a Bosch Serie 6 dishwasher and Serie 8 washing machine both made in Germany. Cheaper Bosch appliances are made in Turkey and China. Bosch proudly prints country of manufacture (Germany) on the front of their appliance and also put a sticker "Made in Germany" just to make it clear.

                I wouldn't touch Asko with a 10ft pole!
                https://www.channelnews.com.au/exclusiveasko-fast-becoming-a…

It's no longer a premium brand once it was, especially now, under new Chinese owner.

                • -1

@vrsac: They wouldn't be whacking the "Bosch" name on Chinese or Turkish made appliances if they didn't meet their "Bosch" quality standards. That's basic business.

            • +3

@justtoreply: I had no idea about Asko selling out. Thanks for the heads up and teaching a few of us a thing or 2.

      • +1

Asko make the worst stuff. I had a top of the line washer and dryer, the bullshit washer kept leaking from the seal-free door so I ended up getting a refund.

same with the dryer, it was OK but was way louder and nowhere near as good as the Bosch it replaced.

I'd ovoid ASKO stuff like the plague now. (their ovens are also shit).

    • Bosch WAN24120AU up for $679 on TGG with their price match. i doubt they'll let you take off the 15%

      • +2

Beware only WAW washing machine are made in Germany.

      • Bought this last night so annoyed

        • what you pay?

        • Why? The price match is still cheaper than the 15% off (I bought yesterday too)

Plus u get 60 credit for tgg.. Not that it's worth a lot

  • +1

Where's the exclusion list? Looking for fitbit luxe for the wife.

  • +13

    Excludes anything worthwhile

  • Saw a banner for $20 off $60 for latitude pay, ends tomorrow night. Not sure if confirmed though and whether for new/existing customers?

  • +1

    Everything i want is OOS
What's going on with TGG, are they closing down?

    • +11

just the usual. remove anything worth buying before offering the discount.

  • +3

If you have access to TGG Commercial, it can often be cheaper than this deal, For instance, I bought a Bissell Spotclean carpet cleaner on Saturday for $186 via TGG Comm. (main store price $239). With this deal it's $203.15.

Saying that, not everything they sell is available on TGG Comm. so this might be okay in those circumstances.

    • Is there an easy way to get access to TGG Comm?
Can I please ask you to vhekc the price of the DJI Mini 2 Combo on TGG Comm.? Cheers :)

      • +2

I signed up to Sunsuper last week, registered GGC account straight away and got a log in shortly after

        • +1

Are there any fee's associated with SunSuper accounts with no balance?

          • +1

            @Tyrx: no

          • +1

@Tyrx: Nah, they take $1.50 a week plus 0.10% admin fees if you have a balance. I didn't register any sort of financial details.

        • How long did it take to get the details from TGGC? I signed up earlier but nothing has come thru :(

      • +2

        $853

      • +2

GCC has the combo for $853

      • Thanks all :)

        • sorry for being a pest, would anyone mind checking GCC for the Bosch WAN24120AU?
          thank you!

    • +1

Also Breville Bambino Plus coffee machine is retailing for $599 but on the commercial website, its $361 but only in black.

      • Hi ElleV
Not that I have any easy way to join the Commercial site, but do they show the price for the Breville BES870BKS the Barista Express® Espresso Machine - Black

        • +1
          • +1

@ElleV: Thank you - Much appreciated.
            Seems to be same price.
I guess the 15% off tonight may be better then

            • +1

@Snowie: I joined gg commercial with no hood reason - I just applied and got accepted. You had to upload a pic of your union card, I just uploaded a pic of myself 🤷‍♀️😜

      • -1

I don't have access to TGGC but I think $361 is Bambino not Bambino plus. This thing is stubbornly holding on to the over $500 price tag and I doubt TGGC will sell it for that price. Bambino (non plus) does not have the auto milk function.

Funny TGG call it a hot buy at 599🤣🤣🤣

Amazon has it (stainless version) for $507….. I say these promos are scams!!

    • I want the Bissell spot clean turbo and they don't have it on commercial. Billy Gyatts were $325 on pre order… I can wait to save $114

      • I wanted that one too but unavailable anywhere in WA and I needed it so went with the standard model. It works really well, so the Turbo will be even better

        • +1

yeah, I've borrowed the neighbours small one to clean up a few stains in the carpet, and was impressed enough to buy one…

          • @unrealshots: for anyone playing along from home - $283 via TGGC …. thanks SunSuper!

    • I get it through Sun super.

$853, so this deal will be cheaper at $806.65.

This would also be great for the Air 2S combo. It's not available on TGGC and I got it for $1999 2 weeks ago via the main store - which was great as every other retailer refused to discount it. This, if available, would be $1784.15 - which is a fantastic price.

      • Looks like DJI excluded

    • So we could login to TGG commercial and apply the discount code?

      • +2

        No

Just imagine them as entirely separate retailers and you'll get the idea.

    • Have a chat with Appliances online team using their website. Based on my experience, Appliances online team gave me a much better discount than TGG Commercial

  • -3

Any deal on surface pro 8 and go 3?

    • +1

      Go 3?

    • There are no deals on items that are not released yet.

  • Would be nice if this works on commercial

    • And with some discounted pre-purchased credit.
      And some cashback.
      And CommBank rewards.

  • +1

Meh. Google displays have gone back up in price

  • +3

Potentially best price ever on LG C1 OLED 77". Currently $6995, subtract 15% is 5945.75, subtract $500 "Realca$h" bonus makes it $5445.75. (the realcash thing can be redeemed as a bank transfer or as a prepaid Visa as far as I can tell)

The Realca$h promotion is hard to get details on though. It seems to be combined with a competition/giveaway with weekly prizes, and I can only find T&C's that refer to the weekly prizes rather than the 'included' realcash listed on select items.

Google Chromecast with TV seems to be gone from TGG website

    • +2

Because they are a—holes, not stupid a—holes.

      • +3

But they're supposed to be the good guys!

  • If anyone got the 10% discounted Home gift cards a few weeks ago and still has them , combined with this, and you've got yourself a genuine deal.

    • Can you use the home card online?

    • I believe you can but only so many - I think I read somewhere that it's 5

      • Can't use Ultimate Gift Card for Home on GG online, only TCN cards work online

        • Fair enough, never knew that.

  • +2

Some of the pricing for kitchen products seem higher than other retailers. Would always compare prices including discount against a website like AOL below just to ensure you are getting the best deal.
