For those who live near a Gami - '$1 wings' for International Wings Day.

Note - you can only have one set of wings in your cart. So you will need to order $12 worth of other food to hit the $30 min spend. I got another set of 12 wings.

        Assuming people want the 12 wings, there is a marketing trick mechanism here that you aren't spotting which makes it less difference than what your brain thinks it is unless you love corn cheese.

    I've heard a lot of hype over Gami. I ordered the 12x wings with soy and garlic coating and a fried rice (to bump up the total to $30+), personally found the food to be mediocre. And paying $14.50 for a small portion of rice nearly made me cry whilst eating it. Not bad food but also not great, now is the time to try it if you've ever wanted to I guess. Don't forget to buy DoorDash gift card on ShopBack for 10% CB.

      I also find gami to be on the expensive side and food quality/portion is mediocre. You can find better deals from other Korean restaurants.

      Agreed. When they started franchising it all went downhill. There's no consistency in any of the franchises. I don't even recall whether they do beer happy hour anymore

    Ok I just had a play around with it in the app. As @FrugalFella mentioned it's $30 minimum before the discount.

    8 pieces are $14 and 12 pieces are $18 but you can't mix and match them as they're separate promo's and you can only apply one promotion to your basket. So you have to order a minimum of 24 wings to make it past the $30 before discount restriction, which would be $24.

    TLDR; this is actually 24 wings for $24.

      How did u get it to $24? It's $18 for 12 on my local, buying two set of 12 will be $36 minus $6 discount (promo only applied on 1), ended up with 24 wings for $30

        Looks like I was full of rubbish, I did all that and then didn't even actually try the 24 for $24. You're right it's 24 for $30, what a mess of a promo.

      Breading them is hard, but they are healthier and delicious without.

      Airfry wings at 200C for 8-12mins.

      Small wings at the lower time bound and a honey soy marinade seems to speed up the cooking. Use a meat thermometer to verify or just airfry for longer.

        The seafood pancake is $1 more on DD, so I'm planning to get that to boost it up to $30+.

        Total price will be $30.21 for 12 wings and seafood pancake. Will that be a good deal?
