    I believe the referral should have AUG1AGG at the end, I just updated my referral with the new code. If it does end in this you likely will not get the referral bonus

      1. Load $41
      2. Create virtual card
      3. Purchase Amazon giftcards worth $1, $10, $10, $10 seperately in order

          I think you still have to load $41 to buy the physical card ($10) and make the orders ($31). Last time the $1 and 2x $10 were cancelled for me. So ended up with 1x $10 voucher.

          Virtual card is single use. Will be discarded after the $1 and the 3x $10 will decline without money being taken. Still counts towards the minimum spend.

            @xavi3r: I don't get this. How will it count if declined? I just spent the best part of an hour trying to do this even legit with virtual cards and even got a call from Amazon regarding the gift card fiasco.

            It's a pretty shit setup. Couldn't even load money after the first initial load. Has to transfer from my bank.

            I think I'm left now with $31 Amazon credit and no referral bonus as I'm not even sure if the referral I got was a good one.

    Disappointment with Revolut. They claimed I violated their T & C, by promoting their referral offers here on ozB. Cancelled all my pending referral bonuses. Just be aware..

        Yeah, I had 20 pending referrals (mostly verified w just remaining 3x transactions waiting to be completed). Then, Revolut wiped my list clean and said I violated their T&C by soliciting referrals via unknown source. WTH? I took a screen capture of my referrals list and took it up w CS. Banned since, and no response. Wow!

    An easy way to get the bonus without being out of pocket:

    1. Verify identity and email address
    2. Create a physical card for $9.99 delivery
    3. Deposit $25 from your debit card
    4. View the physical cards number and expiry by clicking the eye button
    5. Use those details to place a fake order on any website for more than your balance (eg $30-40)
    6. Watch the order fail / decline and then repeat it a couple more times
    7. Instantly receive your $30 bonus and then send it to your bank via osko
    8. Ask support for a refund of the 9.99 and say you changed your mind on the card

    Or just buy some gift cards from shopback to complete the purchases legitimately and take the hit on the $9.99. It's still a free $20 and less effort.

    Updated mine. Make sure you check that the referral link you use ends in AUG1AGG otherwise you won't get the bonus! The referral link seems to change every campaign.

    Waste of time for Referrer, who never gets the bonus if referral doesn't complete all the steps, though referral gets the bonus (many times) without completing steps and 5 Spots of referrer are used/wasted without getting any bonus.

      It’s a good deal if you sign up the correct way, which is really easy. Then after that if you get a referral it’s a bonus. You’d be crazy not to get it.

        You didn't get my point. I referred in past. People used up my invitation spots, got $40 based on my invitation and didn't bother to complete the steps so i can get $40 as well. This is a loophole left by Revolut themselves so only person signing up gets the bonus but not the one whose referral is used. Very Dodgy.

                @bobwokeup: I mainly use Samsung Pay for day to day transactions. Revolut isn't supporting Samsung Pay yet, holding me back for daily transactions. However, its good to use for disposable cards and pockets (yet to explore it but seems interesting).

                    @bobwokeup: Pockets is to keep money in seperate pockets (like in wallet) to pay monthly bills out of that pocket. Sometimes my monthly bills are declined as i keep my cards locked for online transactions. So its a good option to use a pocket in revolut for that i believe.

    Could be handy just for this propose, been looking for something like this that's valid in Aus.

    Is there any advantage of getting this card if Single-use cards are not available on the free account?
    Not interested in budget, exchange, daily discounts/cash backs, offers/deals features, as I will be using YNAB 4 & SB/CR rewards.
    And don't need to send money OS.

    So any point in me getting this?
    As I have 2 Suncorp accounts (Essentials) so 0% Foreign currency conversion fees.

      How is this useful?
      For websites where you need to purchase items quickly 3ds can ultimately ruin your chances of getting the limited product.

      3ds will ask for a code to enter, however with revolut card no need for this.

      What are the Suncorp rates like compared to Revolut or the other banks? I've found the big bank rates to be pretty bad so seems that's where they get you despite 0% FX fees

    I joined recently and pretty impressed with Revolut. Just for anyone new interested when they will be eligible for bonus referral. For me after I joined like a week later and when this new referral promo happens they let me participate in the bonus and refer friends. I'm impressed with the referral system of ozbargain is pretty good.

    I wish I knew revolut a long time ago.

    Waste of time. I may have gotten a dud referral link but I get the feeling this company will go out of its way to avoid giving anything out if possible.

    I'm not sure what the attraction is. I use Up bank as my everyday, and it may be less featured but still more functional than this app. Everything about it is hard and clunky.

      I use both Up and Revolut. The main advantage Revolut has over Up is that you can buy crypto directly with Revolut, you can't do that with Up. Up is owned by Bendigo bank and they block crypto transactions. I tried to top up my Crypto.com debit card with it and the transactions never go through.

        I use Up to pay for all my crypto accounts and all of them are cheap than buying crypto through Revolut. Up is so fast it takes about 30 seconds longer.

    Revolut refused to give referral bonus saying the referral link I picked up was a generic one. Also , my friends sign up also didn’t work since she used also my generic referral and not a special promotional one I would need to have.

    I would not recommend participating in Revolut campaigns as they apparently playing games to prevent payouts.
