[Klarna] Apple TV 4K 2021 32GB $186.74, 64GB $209.24 (after Waiver) Delivered @ Mobile World/JW via Kogan

540

Jumping on the Klarna x Kogan 4th instalment waived bandwagon.

The title prices take into account the 4th payment being waived by Klarna. They would make the lowest net prices to date for these 2021 Apple TVs.

Don't forget to stack with this deal 5,000 Bonus Flybuys Points Worth $25

If you want just the 2021 Remote Controller, it would be $66.27 Delivered

The market place sellers are Mobile World (Mobileciti Australia) and JW Computers at $0.01 more. The link will show MW if they have stock, otherwise it shows JW (it's been switching back and forth the last 24 hours when JW sold out, then they added more, then sold out again, several times).
No need to sign up Kogan First. Mobile World includes free shipping. JW charges $9.95.

P.S. I have tested a purchase with a Kogan market place seller and yes, they also qualify (I got the Klarna order confirmation email saying they are waiving 4th instalment).

Thanks, ordered. Saying low stock already on both 32 and 64 gb. But missed stacking for FB points deal as deal revised to add it after! Ah well. Anyway, here's hoping Apple unlock 120hz on that 2.1 port before too long and offer some content (lossless Atmos, Redbull/Kayo sports etc)!

Sorry FB came about afterwards when I read the trails of other Klarna related deals. Having said that, I added my FB # after the purchase and got the points so you should be able to do same. Go to the app, My Rewards section.
There are 2 local market place sellers around these prices so if Mobile World sold out, I think JW Computers would pop up instead (only $0.01 extra for the 32gb when I last checked).

      • So I didnt add the FB points deal when purchasing. So you're telling me I can still get the FB points? I'm on the app and in the rewards section but I see no option to add my FB #

        • I did it after purchase. Look for FB reward in there I recall. When you click, it asks you for FB details.

      • No dramas mate, and cool I'll give the FB stack a go - cheers!

  • So it’s effectively 209.25-25 for 5000 points so 187.25 for 64gb right?

  • Also can you prepay 2nd and 3rd to get the 4th free instalment faster?

  • I somehow managed to snag a 64Gb one from Mobileciti, got the order confirmation from Klarna after the first payment was taken but no mention of the 4th payment being waived?

Do I have to wait for it to ship?

Also can’t seem to use the FlyBuys reward in the app, despite making the first payment, the button is greyed out and I don’t have any “vibes” as yet :o/

    • Same, the the button is disabled. I’m hoping to get this sorted in live chat today

      • I contacted livechat… asked about the lack of any mention of the final installment being waived in the confirmation email, as well as the FlyBuys reward button being greyed out despite having made my first payment.

Apparently it just takes time for the reward to become active (or so I was told).

As for the final payment being waived, when I pay the 2nd and 3rd installments, the system will automatically waive the final repayment, or if I choose to pay early (with no penalties or fees), I just have to jump on livechat/contact them and they'll manually waive it.

My order just got dispatched from Mobileciti. I wonder how long it'll take for the FB rewards to become active. Did anyone else have to wait, or was it working straight away?

        • FB active for me a minute after my purchase.

          • @Buy2Much: Weird. Just asked another customer service agent on Livechat, and they told me it can take up to 48 hours to become active for some. I don't know…i'm not having much luck with "offers" lately.

  • I still don’t get it. What is the point of Apple TV if you already have a smart tv?

    • I personally prefer the user interface (over my Samsung TV's) and how it connects seamlessly with HomePods & AirPods.

      • Can macbook play video using safari browser via apple tv to tv?

        • yes. You can use an appleTV to wirelessly show anything on your mac on the TV.

    • a lot of TV companies are tracking everything you watch and selling the data. A lot of TV have started showing ads in the menus. Using an appleTV you can disconnect your TV from the internet. Apple makes money selling the boxes, they don't sell viewing data.

    • Can you view Free to Air TV via the Apple TV?

      • +2

yes by downloading 2,7,9,10, SBS apps

I just went to purchased it this morning after leaving it in my basket overnight (I think I did that thinking it’d be sold out and I could pretend “aww shucks I missed out”) and not only wasn’t it sold out, it said it was now available from Mobile World again with free shipping!

Great, they must have restocked the count this morning.

  • Guys is this the same for cheaper (with postage charged extra)?
    https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/jw-computers-apple-tv-hd-32gb-m…

    • It's a HD not 4K version.

      • How misleading, since it has the new remote! Thanks for clarifying!

        • It says HD not 4K in the title, I'm not sure how can it be misleading.

          • @froddoog: Purely displaying the new remote in the screenshot as some I guess would assume it’s the newest Apple TV given the new remote (assumptions are dangerous)

            • @joeiwu: ermmm probably they just upgrade the HD version with a new remote too for all new customers, thats my assumption, like why sell the old remote if the new one is better and useable with the HD version hehe

              • @froddoog: Indeed, fully agree. Good tactic to fool people too lol

                • @joeiwu: It’s not too difficult. There are two versions of the new Apple TV. One is 4K, the other is HD (cheaper option). For $186 I’d go the 4K option (which I’ve just done) thanks OP.

  • Out of stock from MW unfortunately :-(

  • Is it free for JW to ship if sign up to Kogan free trial?

    • AFAIK Market Place sellers are not in the Kogan First shipping promo.

Out of stock from MW unfortunately

Looks like Mobile World replenished stock count again. Free shipping with them.

    • Hey there how do you get to their page? I can’t see a link for MW

      • I think when MW sold out, the link switches to JW stock. When MW updates their stock count (which they have done 2-3 times in the last 24 hours), the link switches back to MW.

        • Ah ok thanks

          • +1

@sauce2k: JW is now cheaper than MW by 2 bucks, they just dropped their price.

  • Hi all, is the warranty covered by Apple Australia? Just in case something went wrong

  • 😮 JW has just dropped their 32GB ad price to $236.55, so after Klarna and postage, it’s now only $184.87, cheaper than MW by 2 bucks!
