    • In the email Groupon sent you there is a link to use the coupon (at this point you only have the coupon you haven't actually applied it to the Amaysim deal)…follow the link and put the code into the voucher section as you progress through the checkout screens. Once checkout completed it will send you to Amaysim to create an account and supply your ID. When your new sim arrives you log in to the Amaysim account and activate the sim (if it hasn';'t arrived by the 31st Aug you will need to activate it in advance I think (please provide info everyone if this is wrong…will Amaysim delay if you haven't got the sim from them yet?)

      • The sim is already activated the moment you purchased. That's the way they do. But they'll restart your plan's date after you first used it - you'll receive an SMS notify about that few hours after put sim in your phone.

        • I followed the instructions in the email from Groupon, put in the code etc . (it didn't ask for the security code?) and then it took me to Amaysim where I went through the signup process BUT the Groupon voucer still says available and not 'redeemed' like other prior vouchers…I will call amaysim support when they open to make sure it has been applied.

    • Not yet…The support desk said I can use a $2 sim from Coles\Woolies if it doesn't arrive in time…I wonder if you can use an old Amaysim card from a previous deal (that has been activated before…will it reactivate with the new number)?

    • im tempted to wait and find out but some user said you can use a $2 amaysim sim from coles but i would like if you can just reactive your old sim

  • does "SIM plan must be activated before 31 Aug 2021" mean last day to activate is 30 Aug (today) or tommorrow?

    • Why not activating today? Just play it safe.

  • spoke on live chat and they reassured me that the sim already activated so that it doesn't matter when the sim arrives someone wanna clarify if thats wrong

    • I think you will lose one renewal, only 5 free renewals. Check out promo end date after activation. More info here.

      • They will adjust the starting date once you begin using. If not, contact them via chat to get it fixed.

        • Reset does not change promo end date. I got reset the next day actually and my 6th renewal falls on the 28th Dec (was 27th Dec) now. CS can only add one month worth credits to your account (only if the customer found the catch).

    • You think you have the full 6 coz you have not figured out promo end date in the account. I bet it is before the 6th renewal date.

      • Where can I find that promo end date? Nowhere on Groupon.

        • "Promotion - Free Unlimited 2GB. Valid to: 01 Jan 2022" shows in my Amaysim account.

          I think it is under manage plan. You may need desktop login to view. It determines the final date that allows free renewal.

          • @Neoika: Just have a chat with Amaysim and they will give you credits for any missing month.

            • @hawkeye93: Yes, I said above (only if the customer found the catch). Definitely not auto credited to you.

  • Is there a way to see how many auto renewals you have? I activated late but the groupon code still worked when I ordered my sim.

    • OK, spoke to live chat and confirmed I have all 6 renewals.
