It went up to $768 for a bit at one stage. I got mine by having OfficeWorks price beat Amazon yesterday afternoon which dropped it to $711.55, looks like OfficeWorks is matching to avoid having to beat it any more.
I would buy from amazon, much easier return if a problem or even for change of mind.

Yeah getting warranty from Officeworks is like pulling teeth, buy local my arse.
I had an ASUS router purchased from Amazon go screwy on me at 11 months after purchase, they sent me a return label and refunded me the full purchase price 3 hrs after I dropped it at the post office.
Oh i really worried now.. thought of buying local instead of Amazon but if warranty going to be hard better to cancel and order it from Amazon is good it seems

I'm torn. Ordered a standard iPad 128Gb for teenage daughter for 590 from Amazon a few weeks back. This is not much more for a better piece of kit but I've seen teenagers regularly using >100Gb storage so really torn between the Air with better everything except memory, or the standard iPad 128Gb.
Feel like so much in the cloud these days that the storage doesn’t matter as much. I got the 2018 iPad Pro (similar to this) and I still love it. I would say this has real longevity so could be worth the bump up.
It's $80 saving on this (less than 10%). From a comment on a similar deal, some OZBers were able to get a better deal (cheaper than this) before (it was an educational deal with bonus AirPods 2) so this isn't THAT great.
